The Plague, Day 120.....

Banner day today. 120 days in quarantine. Amazing. I have been told that "I am not in quarantine" since I do go to a very few places. If that comment makes one feel better, so be it. I do not go to places and travel like I used to. And not having a large support system of family or friends, sometimes just sitting in a cafe alone and hearing people or seeing people helps. I no longer do that. I no longer get in the car and just go somewhere. I find it hard. What if I have car trouble? And the town is full of Covid 19. I stay home. Cannot go to Denver to see my cousins. I no longer go to Concordia or Hastings to see friends that work there. People, just say what you want.

I met friends at the White Peacock, DD and wife ND. I treated myself to some homemade coffee ice cream. Yum. And I almost always get green tea with honey. Pretty healthy. Not a huge crowd today. Saw 2 come in with no mask. Both should have known better.

We had a nice visit. We agree on so many things. And good to catch up even though ND and I email almost every night. She is a life saver. A life line to life.

Weather hot but less humidity. And a nice wind.

Photos tonight are more Art Deco posters or paintings. No photos today.

National Cake Day I know this is an American day but I chose a Swedish cake.  This is a Princesstårta.  A birthday cake in Sweden.  To die...
