Today's Name Day:  Dagmar, Rigmor

Had an ancestor in Sweden named Dagmar.  Knew the husaband of one.

    Another day of rest.  Normal day for me.  Heard from MM at work, CW on holiday, KC accepted my friend request.  Plus I have figured out how she knows me.   Weather too warm.  Hope the cool weather gets here soon,

    KN used to have large parties at their house.  Invite all the neighbours but they assumed I knew everyone.  I knew no one.  I worked long hours in Salina.  So I would always go to their parties but I would usually sit quietly & visit with few.  I am sure her family were there but I was clueless.  And quiet.  And somehow she liked me.  Glad.  Willie would give all the kids attention.  She must have just added me to him.  I am glad.  And she is a nurse today.  A "real" nurse as Mom used to day.  I was only an LPN & not important..  I never talk about those days now.  I am friends with 3 "real" nurses.  I ignore me as a "nurse".  Always.

    I have worked through my feelings & what I have been accused of.  And announced that as a child I never hurt anyone & with photos of us that my parents did not hate me.  If it happens again he will not be a happy camper.

    TV better today. National Geographic & Josh Gates.  I am really ready for SNL to start.  Couple of weeks or so.

This table looks exactly like thetable I use to sort my fotos on.  Not the same though.

Love this & wish it was mine.  The dreams of fools.........

Would be fun to shop here in Morocco.  Plus a friend lives there.

18 february, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Had a quiet day.  Just stayed home.  Had planned on supper out, but my stomach was not well.  Hopefully ok tomorrow.

    I felt too cold all day.  Got in the 40s.  Stayed too warm last night, but much cooler tonight.  Warmer tomorrow.  Even the weathermen are mentioning spring.  I no longer am saying what weather I like.  I have given up.  And we had strong winds today.  Toppled one trash bin.  Not much in it.

    Last night JS & I had a video chat.  Miss him so much.  Good to see him happy with no stress.  He showed me his new cat friend that follows him everywhere & a new aquarium.  Gorgeous.  Had a good conversation.

    My cousin & friend called me last night also.  We talked for about 2 hours.  We both have similar health issues.  Good to talk someone who understands & cares.  Rare for anyone with chronic diseases.  We need to chat more often.  I have found a RA group on FB.  They are nice.  And said anyone can vent if they need.  I will try not to abuse that.

    Cinder is getting to be more of a house cat daily.  She was in all last night.  Snuggled up next to me.  Kisse is getting jealous.  She snuggles for attention when Cinder is outside.

    Last night Nico was totally out of control.  He was into anything that did not run from him.  What a mess.  He does not listen or mind.  I was sooo stressed.  He started again tonight but gave up early.  Sleeping now.

26 January, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Not a good night or day.  I thought my supper dessert was too rich.  Might have been but I stayed sick all night & all today.  No bueno.

    Got home after supper last night & Nico was sickly also.  Clueless as to why.  I looked for clues he got into something but I saw nothing.  He could not potty as he was too busy eating grass.  I would have tried a handful of grass if I thought it might work for me too.

    I got no sleep last night until this morning.  I had an appointment to get the car looked at but cancelled.  Will rescheduled next week.

    I ate some supper but could not finish.  Just was icky.  I am in the process of canceling tomorrow.  A..t least some things.  The thought of Mexican food or even a burger makes me queasier.  😡

    I tried to nap this afternoon but I hurt too much.  My SoftWave treatment has helped but it has no effect on my sciatica.  Dang, that sure hurts.  Surely no fun.  I finally slathered on pain killing cream.  Feel better now.

    Photos are just a mix of things I liked.  The last photo is Willie in his truck, Kajsa-Jo, & Nico.  The Christmas town & Santa I just did today.  The young women are an old old Smoky Valley Roller Mill photo.  The are on the traffic bridge over the Smoky Hill River.  There is also a bridge for the trains.  And a festive photo of me!
