8/2026 - Sunday the 9th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Silvia , Sylvia

Mom had a good friend for years named Sylvia. And her daughter was a couple of years older than me.  This is also the Swedish queen's Name Day.  (got mixed up.  yesterday's names)

    Today is miserable heat.  Now is 1pm & it is 106.8F.  And feels awful outside.  Just fed Daisy.  Sat out for a while.  I feel guilty leaving her outside.  Wish I trusted Cinder & Kisse.  Not sure I do.  She can go under the house to cool off.  Super cold this winter I may change my mind.

    Sent out 3 messages a couple of nights ago.  Two never answered,  Why am I being ignored???  Has to be something wrong with me.

    I am in a better mood. No tears yet but no promises.  Waiting on someone for them to interact with me.  I bet I never hear today.  Nap then out to eat.  No idea where.  Poor day to eat out.  Everything is closed.  Awful.  Not sure I can go to Pizza Hut after they hurt some one I care about.  His stress is worse than mine.  Wish I could help.

    I have decided that I just cannot drive to an out town doctor when it is 106+F outside.  Wish I had someone I could ask for help,  Nice dream.  Everyone has lives other than with me.  I only have me.  No support group.  Almost everyone I know has a friend or two.  Why not me???

5/2026 - Monday 11th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Märit , Märta

Had an aunt named Martha.  Sure miss her.  And my other aunt Thelma Arcel.  And Mom.

    

    Today is nothing new.  Just another lonely day at home.  MM sent a couple of texts with photos.  Long email from JL.  

    I called KN to tell him i had a couple of large boxes that were filled with smaller boxes.  He carts them off to his burning place.  I was in the middle of throwing  trash bags out & had a few I had thrown near the trash bins but I had to eat because of low blood sugar.  After I ate when I went outside KN had been here & threw those bags in my trash bin.  Nice.  And my boxes were gone,  Nice again.

    I did mange a nap after throwing trash out.  I just hurt all over.  Plus I am tired beyond belief.  Dry weather after this next weekend.  Hope I feel better then.  

    Have a doctor app't in Hutchinson on monday.  Going to cancel.  Too many things to do.  I am too tired,  They won't do anything for me anyway.  Typical. 

    I keep lowering my insulin & I still run low.  Lowered it again today.  See if that helps.  Tired of eating to keep it ok.  Last night I tried a pudding cup, large serving of gel to raise my blood sugar & a cookie.  Nothing worked.  I have cookies, glucose pills, crackers & pastries in my bedroom.

    Drought is getting worse.  Where I live we are 3 inches of rain short.  Our wheat is desperate.  The corn will be soon.

    I sat outside for a bit this afternoon.  Nice out.  No cattle or anything to photograph,  I am seeing a bluejay often near my house.   Cool.  Just peaceful outside.

    Tomorrow is my historical group board meeting.  I should quit,  I no longer feel part of it.  When they went behind my back to take my job away without warning me or asking if it was ok I no longer feel like I belong in the group.  I was going to stay home but the program is one I do not want to miss.  Will take myself out for supper first,
