Today's Name Day:  Alfhild, Alva

    Cancelled today.  Pain & no sleep.  Cancelled tomorrow also.  But I have terrible guilt feelings. Today is JR's birthday.  I feel like I am not snapping back to normal since my accident.

    Had a severe weather warning.  I had some mail to bring in from my porch.  I had just sat down there when the wind suddenly surged at a severe speed blowing dirt & trash.  Hard to see down my drive.  Scared me.  Barely got back indoors & it was over.  There was huge hail & heavy rains in this area but I got nothing.

    I took a nice nap with Cinder cuddling me.  Now both cats are sleeping near me.

    Had texts from MM & a text or two from JR.

    My artist friend who just went back home to Iowa posted the paintings from his show at the Red Barn, just for me since I missed his show.  I saved them all just for me.  I really liked one of his.  I sure miss him when he is gone.

    Last night I forgot to take my insulin at supper.  By the time I remembered it was far too late to take it.  My night was much better.  Blood sugar did not vary too much.  Skipped it again tonight.  See how my night is.

 Autumn Arrives

It gets here at3:43 am. Finally!!!!! Our high today was in the 80s. our high tomorrow is 60!!! Perfect!! Hit the road summer!!!

Today's Name Day:  Matteus

    Yesterday I was notified by whoever delivered something from Amazon that it was here.  Where???  Not on my porch.  Sometimes they come the next day so I did not hit the panic button, but I was a bit worried.  But today I got a text message from someone who got my package.  What luck!!!  I went right away to pick it up.  Her last name was 5 letters starting with a "J".  So close to mine of 7 letters starting with a "N".  And we only live 4-5 miles apart.  That delivery guy was sooooo close!!!  Good Job!!  But it is here now & I will deal with it tomorrow.

    Had an ok day.  For some reason I felt chilly in the house.  Premonition???  I finally put a sweater on.  Then I was ok.  I slept good last night.

    Cinder never asked to go out.  She kind of wants to now but it is raining now.  She can wait until tomorrow.  On my nap she had hidden somewhere but eventually came back to curl up on my chest.

    Kind of ignored all day.  Normal.  Sad I am used to it.  Other people have friends, family, activities, etc.  Things I do not have.  Have to find ways to entertain myself.

    Tonight is the annual street dance in Lindsborg.  They were smart & moved it inside to a gym.  We had a strong rain forecast.  Started here at supper time.  The radar is wicked looking.  Hope it rains all night.

   Weekend tv is awful.  Tonight is Expedition X.  I like even the reruns.  Better than the regular channels ---- all football or stupid shows.  I gave up "normal" channels during Covid.  All reruns.  Not going back.  There is one show I watch & a second one I will check out.  And watch or tape all the late night talk shows.  And my soaps.

    I had photos picked out for tonight.  Then I drove to get my package.  Flowers in the ditch, a church, graves, etc.  Got new photos!!!  All mine!!!
