Both look good.  They are a day late.

Today's Name Day:  Margareta , Greta

I went to school with a Greta.  Her sister was in my class.  Smart, cool girl.  I had a Margaret in my class.  We were good friends.  Part of a large group.  Mom had a cousin Margaret.  I knew her well.  Always enjoyed her company.  I miss the days when I had people in my life & family.

    Today is anything but good.  So hot it is unreal.  I saw a high of 104F or 40C.  It felt like 108F.  I was out with Daisy but not for long.  Need to carry trash out but I refuse.  I hurt far too much & it is far too hot.  Supposedly cooler midweek with rain.  Not holding my breath.  Any rain will miss my farm.  I can guarantee that.

    Both inside cats have stayed in our bedroom the last two nights.  No idea why.  But they are eating better.

    Spanish is not going well.  They moved me down a level.  I do not care.  Too sick & tired to care.  There should be a way you could tell them your are sick or have had a death in the family.  Give you a day or so to recover.  But like the rest of the world no one there cares either.

    And my phone is driving me crazy.  I wanted to post a graphic about the heat.  Just something cute.  It has tried all day.  But I checked & it is there but I still have a message saying it is still loading.  Grrr.

    Have another birthday of my oldest great grandson.  I know the day but not any of the plans.  More photos!!!

    I felt too bad yesterday I did not watch the last soccer match.  Just did not care.  And then the trophy ceremony was ruined as I knew it would be. But FIFA & Spain fixed it.  Loved what they did!!!  I am sure there "someone" who is quite upset!!!  Good deal!!!

    Eating big for supper.  Popcorn!!!  Sounds good.  Something different than tv dinners or lunch meat.  if only I could afford a maid & cook!!!  Ah, life would be awesome!

    Temp down to 101F.  No bueno.  I am ready for something to drink & food.  But not going out.

12/2025 - Martes the 30th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day:  Set, Kelsey, Mason

My neighbour's daughter is Kelsey.  Have known a Mason.

    

    Slept good last night.  I watch my blood sugar so it does not go too low.  Cinder stays close as does Kisse.  Like having them close to me.

    Got cold over night but warm today.  I wore my coat tonight but did not need it.  One never knows.

    I braved the back bathroom to shampoo my hair.  Was warm & water was ok.  I got a hold of my hair stylist & his first opening is January 22.  Hard to believe but maybe he is punishing me for cancelling when I did not feel well.  Sorry.  My first to do thing is take care of me.  Tough.  At that appointment will find a day to color my hair.  Then back to normal.

    Emails with JL.mail

    I had planned to work tomorrow but I have been invited out to lunch & coffee/cake in the afternoon.  Cancelled work for tomorrow.  Tired of watching every one else have fun times with friends.  So I an going to also.  Will work on friday.  And lunch with LL.  Seeing MM tomorrow at noon also.

    The mailman crammed my mailbox full of small packages.  What a mess.  They are in to open in a minute.

    My phone is a total mess.  I have deleted tons of photos & programs.  Still is not working right.  Next week I will see what Verizon has to say.  If they have any way to help me.  Would hate to drop them.  JR looked on his service to see what kind of phones they are selling.  None of them have hardly any storage.  What the hell???  Makes no sense.  Nothing I do helps.

    TV is boring tonight.  Nothing to watch.

    I have decided to pull away from things & people.  I got far to involved in Christmas.  No more.  A couple of happy happy but not a dozen every day.  I no longer care how many I get.  No wonder I felt awful most of the time.  I want the holidays over & my life back.

    JR & I ate supper at Jalisco's.  They were moderately busy.  I knew almost no one.  My cousin & her husband come in often.  She rarely if ever says hi or smiles at me.  He husband almost always smiles, or waves, or says hi.  How I love family.

    Think I can leave the water not dripping tonight.  Gets expensive.  But I love when I get a glass of water it is very cold.  No basement so the pipes get cold.  In summer the water sucks.  Luke warm.  Ick,

    Photos are the usual.  Several more Christmas lights.  There was one house I really wanted a photo of.  Got it tonight.

12 june, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    I have had an interesting day.  Fun?  Not hardly.  But not a dull moment.  And still shedding a few tears about Willie & his friends.  I hope he relialised how lucky he was.

    I had trouble sleeping so I got up early.  I had stuff to do as trash pickup is tomorrow.  I put up a baby gate so Nico could not bother me.  It was heaven.  I need several more of them!!! (-:

    While busy my blood sugar decided it would be fun to drop.  I managed to survive & drank some Sprite & then had a few orange chocolate biscottis.  They are yummy.

    I did get a short nap in the late morning & then this afternoon also.  I am taking an anxiety pill tonight when I go to bed.  Must break this no sleep habit.

    I brought home leftovers from Pizza Hut for today.  Lunch was pasta, cheesy breadsticks, & part of a chocolate chip cookie.  They are to die for!!  Finished the cookie at supper.  Will order again!

    Cooler today.  Huge area of rain in western Kansas.  They deserve it.  None here today.  Maybe tomorrow or the next day.  Super hot weather is on the way.  Oh joy.  Not.

    After hauling trash outside I now have flies in the house.  My cookie box is next to my bug zapper so I hope that will take care of them.

    Baby gate or not, Nico has been a major pain this afternoon after our nap.  Worse after supper.  Dang.  He is an angel when we are in the vet hospital.  But at home he does not understand English.  He will not mind at all.

    I have a deep hole in my iphone screen protector.  I think I dropped it but what damage.  Have to order a new one.  It bothers me to see it.

    Photos today are not any that I took but I edited them all.  Took time to play a little.  Needed some fun time.
