Today's Name Day:  Frank, Frans

I had a Frank in my class in school who was my Swedish dance partner.  His father was also Frank & and a sculpturer.  I had a couple of other school friends named Frank.

    Had a cousin name ∂Frans.  He was also a neighbour.  His daughter & I were best friends for many years.

    Had a good day.  Slept good & made it to work ok.  Today was warm with strong winds.  The leaves were totally out of control!!!  I saw a pile of them shoot straight up in the air!!

    Lots of people walking around town.  And quite a few stopped in to see our show.  Nice.

    One girl who came in was from Florida & her family was from Stockholm Sweden.  We had a great visit.  I got soooo hemlängtan (home sick) talking to her.  Lots of fun.

    Our show this month are Swedish costumes, especially ones worn by our Swedish queens & kings of the Hyllningsfest.  I got all my photos taken & in an album.  Tomorrow I can read what is written about each one.

    Did get some bad news.  November is our Christmas gift sales event.  I don't do selling other than an occasional book.  So I get November off.  Probably December too  So does MH.  He does not sell anything either.  Makes me sad.  Will miss being there.  😥  Hope January goes back to normal.  Maybe they don't want me anymore.

    Supper was at Jalisco's.  Had a great visit with 2 of the wait staff.   I have now learned to say "I had a busy day".  Dia ocupado.  Fun talking to them.

    Dessert was ice cream and then groceries.

    On the way home I was pushing buttons on my steering wheel..  And odd button appeared under the box of where my cruise control used to show up.  And it stayed.  Soooooo.  I pushed a speed choice & voila!!!  My cruise works!!!  I wonder if my battery was so bad that my car software did not update.  And now it has.  Great!!! I called MM to tell him.  He sounded relieved.  Me too!!!

    MM & CW are at the Öl Stuga where a musician is performing.  They sent me a photo of them together telling me they love me.  Perfect end to my day.  I am always surprised when someone picks me to love/like.  But loving it too!!!

    I am awaiting Saturday Night Live.  Will be a great show!!  Bad Bunny is the host.  Love him.

17 september, 2022 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    What a day.  I slept really good for quite a while last night & then Nico got weird.  We were outside side what seems like a dozen times.  Then he would sit & stare at me.  I would give him a treat but he never liked them.  Then he disappeared.  Why?  I called him to come to bed & nothing.  Anxiety within me reigned.  After a very long time he came back to bed.  Then I felt better.

    We had a tiny shower last night.  All that got wet or damp was my window.  Actually in a severe weather watch now.  Sky is dark in places.  Not good for the college football game.  Dangerous to be out with lightning.

    I got groceries this morning.  But they were out of my cookies.  😩  I will live.  Got everything else though.

    I got sick tonight.  No fun.  Think it was caused by my hernia.  Great.  Happens rarely.  This is just not my week.  Now worried about my blood sugar.  Time will tell.

    My grandson MM got a trip to Wisconsin for his birthday & a pro football game.  They were touring the stadium this afternoon.  My other grandson CF is by the lake with his girlfriend in a tent like thing for protection.  Very cool.  And all I got was to get sick on my sofa.  Ready to whine.

    Pain-wise I am sort of ok.  Like normal.  My left thumb is permanently sore now.  Soon the right one will join it.

    I cleaned out all the old stuff I have taped on my dvr.  Good to be rid of them.  Weekend tv sucks.

    I really wish friends/family would let me explain what all my RA, etc. causes.  I get lectured on don't do this or that.  And why would you do such & such.  No one understands it is the way it is.  I have tried.  And failed.  More support would be nice instead of lectures.

    Photos are a mix of stuff.  First photo is of a fish church in Sweden.  I have been there but it was too near closing time.  I forget the Swedish name but it sounds like fish church.  And looks churchy.
