10/2025 - Domingo the 26th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day:  Amanda, Rasmus

    Had a good day.  Slept mostly good.  Cinder & Kisse stayed close.  Tried to nap but too nervous about the time I had left myself so I just got up.

    Lots of photos & texts from MM.  He is so excited to be at the Packers match.  Glad for him & his friends.  Game started at 630pm our time.  I am watching it.  Packers in the lead now.

    Two Kansas teams played yesterday.  Great to see the better team beat the heck out of the other team!!!  Always a good thing!!

    Met friends at Pizza Hut for supper.  They are in the process of moving so they were tired.  But great conversation & lots of laughs.  And they double checked to make sure I got home ok.  On those two & MM check on me.  Nice to know.

    Feels quite chilly out.  House is warm & nice.  Good nice.  No rain today.  Maybe tomorrow.  Great.  I have trash to carry out.  Fun.  No one to help or who want to help.  Think I would be used to doing it all alone.  Totally alone.  I will manage somehow.   Or not.

    Cinder is laying next to me.  Concerned about me.  Bless her.  Kisse is missing at the moment.

    Took tons of tree photos this evening.  Did not sync.  I tried.  Tomorrow.  Trees are starting to turn.  got some nice photos.  I have old Halloween photos tonight.  Newer ones tomorrow.  Rebooted everything.  Did not help.

09/2025 - Jueves the 04th - JOURNEY

Marstrand in Sweden.  I road that blue boat back & forth between the island & mainland.  I can see where we ate lunch.  And how I got to my sleeping room. Love being here even though I lost a friendship here.  

Never made it up to the huge building on top of this island.  Steep walk.  Cannot do it.

Today's Name Day:  Gisela

    Same ole day.  Home alone with little human contact.  Still tired.  Slept good last night.  Had a short nap today.  Cinder cuddled most of last night.  Nice.

    Had a few texts from MM & CW.  Those two are such blessings to me.  Shared an AI picture of me with them.  And they talked or laughed at me over it!!!!  Email from JL.  Morning wishes from NGS.

    Stayed cool today.  Rain is now approaching western Kansas.  See if it ignores us here around my house.  Warmer & drier weather starting next week.  Warmer in the 80s as highs.

    Willl try to eat out for lunch & work tomorrow.  Cancelleld going to lunch today.  See how friday goes. 

Last friday after lunch I had my accident.  Scared to go anywhere.  I will work this weekend.  Working for someone.  Not going to take advantage of anyone this weekend.  Plus a new art show from MH.  Plus he talks about his art on sunday.

    Supper was macaroni & cheese.  Me & my plate got to the sofa & I set it down & it promptly tipped over spilling on a blanket.  Surely not my best week.  Luckily it was easy to clean up.  😱. Photo sums up my week.  IYKYK.

    Photos are some old beautiful autumn trees in Lindsborg.  Not here yet.  With our drought maybe nothing pretty this year.  I occasionally see leaves falling off trees now.

 

My family's ancestors' castle, Called Vanås..  I was there twice & walked through the gardens & had ice cream there afterwards.  The gardens are full of art everywhere.

Love this.  Only time I have seen this happen.

                                               

Wandering, 27 october 2021

    Wow!  What a couple of days of weather!  We were in a severe weather watch all last night.  It was noisy and wet but not severe.  I will never adjust to being alone in severe weather.  Nothing anyone can do.  My husband is gone and there is no one to take his place.  And never will be.  Severe weather just freaks me out.

    Today it rained all day.  And it still raining a little.  Had almost 2 inches in my gauge.  Will empty tomorrow.  I had to put gas in my car.  I was on fumes.  I got wet.  My hair, shoes, and coat got wet.  My hair was just lovely.  Not!!!  My road in front of my house is really soft.  I crept home.

    JR and PM and I ate supper at Jalisco's.  They were very quiet.  No one wanted to out in the cold and rain.  So it was a quiet supper.  But I got to visit with some of the staff.

    Sometimes life is just not fair.  Two girl friends have some serious problems in their lives.  Wish I had a magic wand to make things right.  I can send positive thoughts and peace their way and hope the angels take over.

    Tonight I am posting photos of some trees.  And these were taken this afternoon in the rain.  They are gorgeous.  You just have to know where to look!!  The spooks are hanging in Jalisco's.  Hand made a couple of years ago!!
