11 february, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    I had a good night.  Slept pretty well.  I did take something to help but if it did it was long after taking it.  Cinder went out early & never appeared again until morning. 

    I had to get moving early today.  I worked at the SVAFC.  And it had a new showing there.  Great show!  I knew the artist's name but not what all she did.  And I had not met her.

    When I got to work, a horse drawn carriage came by.  I could hear the bells on it ringing.  I missed getting a photo of it, but later in the afternoon most of the cars were gone so I got a good photo.  The owner comes here a few times a year.  I have always wanted to ride but never have.  He only goes a couple of blocks.

    Work started out with my boss & a friend of hers in the gallery.  After they left a friend came in & then the artist came in.  And they stayed until closing.  Those two went to college together but it was fun to listen & join in when I could.  I even got brave & suggested we meet again, but no one answered.  They might but I most likely will not be part of anything.  But I got brave & made the suggestion.  My former therapist would be proud.  She always wanted me to do something like that.

    My thoughts, etc. have been more positive the last few days.  Hope it lasts.

    After work I brought home supper for Nico & I.  Not in the mood to think of what to fix.

    After supper I heard an unhappy cat screech outside.  Cinder was there & came in.  Maybe a scuffle with another cat or intruder.

Sheltering in Place, Mood Of Silence, Day 209....

 Had an OK day. Last hot day until wednesday and then cool after that. One weather app said we had a 3% chance of rain. Why even mention it!?  I saw 90F as a high. High wind warning tonight.

I slept ok. Surprising. Seems like when I sleep good, Nico needs to go out! Poor timing.

Got my Pentax K-01 working and took a ton of photos today. I  was sorting photos by subject and now I am far behind. Going to mostly go by day or maybe week or month. Easier. The K-01 was expensive when it came out. But no one liked it much. So while mine is old, it never sold or was used and I got it cheap. I like it. I have another Pentax but it is a bit larger and heavier. This one I can put in my purse.

JR and I ate at Jalisco's. They were busy!! Full inhouse and lots of carry outs. Good for them. Hard times now. We need to really support our local businesses. Friends had written me about the hours to be sure. It was nice to see them. The husband was close to Willie. Good guy. My nephew worked for him for years and now farms his land. Great.

After I ate I sure did not feel good. I felt like my blood sugar was low. How could it be? I was all shaky inside. And the same after I went to bed last night. Might have to lower my insulin again.

My emotions are a mess today. Why? Weather? Life? Trying to nap I cried. And an incident tonight made me cry. Far too sensitive. It only matters to me. The joy of living alone 90% of the time.
