6/2026 - Saturday the 13th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Aino , Aina

    Today was a quiet day with my cats.  Little to no contact with the outside world.  Everyone quiet.  I rested & napped. 

    It got quite hot today. I had 96F here.  Some breeze.  Thunder now.  We are in a storm watch.  Will just screw up my internet again.  Calling my phone company on monday.  They may be my problem.

    Sat outside to open mail boxes.  Daisy stayed close to supervise. . I could pet her.  Then I fed her supper.  See what bedtime is if she gets more.

    Had a harvest photo from CN.  He is a good driver.  And I am sure he is excited.  But if it rains tonight that is it for a day or two.

    I had things I wanted to do but no energy.  And too much pain.  They can wait.  I need to let someone know I have 2 trees down.  No one has been here to check on things or me..

    Got FIFA on.  Watched Brazil.  Now Scotland.  Not a fan of US soccer teams.  Foreign teams play much better.  Watched them for years longer.

5/2026 - Wednesday the 27th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Beda , Blenda

I knew of a lady named Blenda.  Grandmother to friends..  Known several Brendas.  Never knew a Beda.

    Today has been a challenge.  Got little sleep last night.  Got up early & started moving things around.  Then a short nap before lunch. Some work after lunch & another nap.  Then carried 6 heavy bags of trash through the house & to the trash outside.  I am not feeling good.  Lots of pain.  No surprise.  Done for today.  Sort of organized.

    One trash bin is almost full.  I can cram more in.  The other one is empty.  Won't add any boxes in it.  Boxes can be hauled away.

    No working today.  No lunch out tomorrow & most likely no work on friday.  Got to be here when KN is ready to move the washers.  I am ready to be done with it all.  Cannot wait.  Harvest will start soon.  Now or never for the washers.

    I wonder how bad our wheat is.  I am scared to ask.  All the fields I drive by going to town look awful.  It is all awfully short.  Cannot be good.  So sad.

    All 3 cats are lazy today.  Maybe the heat.

    Photos today are real photos.  No drawings.

    Got a short email from JL.  Most others were quiet.  No surprise.  Living a lonely life is not easy.  Very difficult.  And you find that no one cares.  Some say they do but it is hard to believe.

 

Love old cars.  These are excellent.  I could actually get in & out of the second one.

I have always loved doors or windows.  These all came up in my memories today.
