04/2026 - Lördagen den 4: e - MY JOURNEY

 

Kittens are so sweet!!!  They looked at me but I could not touch.  Yet.

Today's Name Day:   Marianne,  Marlene

Known several ladies with these names.  Here in town or where I worked

    Not a good day.  Cinder snuggled with me until 4am.  I woke up with a super dry mouth & a horrible sore throat.  Was not breathing through just my mouth.  Felt like someone wiped my throat with sandpaper.  Plus congestion.  That ended today right then.  I have no fever.  Very tired.  Why me?? And where did I pick it up at??

    Stayed cold last night.  Saw 34 for our low.  And today my house never got too warm.  But I am sick & feel chilly.

    Updated my laptop last night.  Always scary.  Just took too long.  I should have just went to bed.  I was so tired.

    I became extremely stressed last night.  Sort of a  end of my rope.  Changes must be made.  And I will.  Tough on those who do not like it.  Must take care of me & how I feel.

    Had  lunch without problems.  Then back to lay down for a nap.  I quickly fed Miss Kitty. Will water later.

    After my nap I got water for Miss Kitty & more food.  I fed her on the porch but I sat on my bench.  Took photos of the cattle nearby.  No llamas though.

    I went back up on the porch.  And I could not believe my eyes.  There was a kitten on the porch.  Ended up there were 6 kittens there.  Need to take out a loan to feed them all.  Hope they stay safe.  What a worry.  I got photos.

    Still feel sick.  Throat hurts but not as sore but not normal.  Our high was in the 60s.  No winds.  Nice out.  I enjoyed sitting out for a while,

    Really need to carry trash outside but I am not up to it.  The one who should help won't.  Maybe KN can help me on monday.  Not on Easter  though.  Hard to be alone with no ready support.  That needs to change and soon.

    Love the drawings today.  Very sweet.

10/2025 - Jueves the 30th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day:  Elsa, Isabella

Have known an Elsa or two.  A friend on FB has a dog named Isabella.

    Much better day.  Slept more & only 1 low BS episode.  Nice.  This afternoon was good also.  No low BS.  Nice nap time.

    I always watch the CBS news at 530pm.  Every  day it seems shorter & shorter.  Guess I am usually busy & don't pay attention.

    Met MM for lunch.  He thought he was working this morning but was not.  He works tonight so we had lunch together, nice & relaxful lunch.  Nice visit.  I enjoyed it.  I knew 2 of the help.  Good to see them.

    Then KN & one of his friends DD came in for lunch.  Great to see them.  DD has been ill but looks awesome!!  Then a couple came in & sat behind me.  I did not recognize them.  So I asked who they are.  OMG!! They guy is EC.  Known him since he was a child.  Knew his family.  We reconnected!!!  Nice!!  His 2 sisters both live far away from here.  Cannot find him on FB.  Dang.    

    Weather was good today.  In the 50s but last night I saw it got down to 30F here!!!  Our first freeze.  Some place in Kansas had a few snow flakes yesterday durning the day.  Did not amount to much.  But it is coming!!!  😀❆  In the 30s forecast for tonight also but warms up for the kids tomorrow night.  Next week is very dry.  The weather man says Salina is an inch & a half above normal. They may be but not me.  We always miss much of the rain.  Always.

    MM & his friend W are going to fix the screen on my bedroom window.  It is shredded beyond help.  Next week.

    Ordered some new foods for me to eat.  They are puff pastries.  Main dishes & desserts.  Tonight I had eggs & meat & for dessert apple pie.  I did one wrong but it still tasted good.  Dessert was great.  I have had them before but forgot how they heat.  Next time will go better.

    Spanish is next.  I dread it.  Last night went fairly good.  Just makes me nervous.  Maybe I should just not care & do what I can.  No matter how bad.  If I can't, I can't.  Who cares!!

    Tonight is my fave tv night.  Two good shows.  Fun tonight!

02/2025 Måndag the 03rd - Wandering & Capturing Moments

Today's Name Day:  Disa

    My day did not start good.  I wanted to go to Hutchinson.  But when I got up this morning I could barely walk.  I could not even stand up straight.  I did not want to cancel but I know I cannot travel or walk through a hospital clinic like this.  I rested on the sofa & took some pain pills.  After lunch I was better.  I half heartedly put on make up & got dressed.  And took off,

    I was ok driving & got to the clinic & walked in fine.  I got a stack of papers I had to sign.  Had to sign my name 7 times.  No problem.  Going back to my car was ok.  I had a close parking place.

    On the way home I wanted some ice cream.  Stopped in McPherson at Dairy Queen to get a hot fudge sundae.  Hit the spot!!!  I deserved it.  Then home for a short nap.

    It did not get too cold last night.  It was 50F my house when I left today.  Lindsborg was in the 40s.  Got to Hutch in was in the 50s.  After being inside the wind had really come up!!  Trash day tomorrow but no boxes moving out to near the trash bins.  The closer I got to home the lower the temperature got.  Right now it is 29F.  Cold.  Staying in.

    On the weather at supper they are forecasting icy roads on wednesday.  No!!!  Work day!!!  And next week snow all over Kansas.  Won't say how much is expected though.  Too early.

    Got home & decided to leave the couple of trash bags in the house & fill the second empty trash bin with boxes,  It held quite a few.  Looks better outside.

    Saw a huge number of geese flying near some water.  If I was not driving I could have heard them.  Cool.

    Feeling ok tonight.  Probably because the front has passed by.  I am sure that is why I hurt so bad this morning.
