8/2026 - Friday the 5th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Alrik , Ulrik

Today was ungodly long. Sooo tired & having major stress!!! Dying.

Worked lots of extra time. Then around supper time we had 2 board meetings. Went ok.

Tonight it is 73F with a sweet breeze. Wish it would last rest of the summer! Hardly likely.

Not posting much. Trying to figure what is wrong with ny blog. The part of my blog that shows how many in each country look at my blog is totally different. Instead of saying say 24 in Mexico. Now it shows how many in hundreds. The blog itself shows low numbers. Odd.

6/2026 - Saturday the 6th - MY JOURNEY

Today was a great day with perfect Kansas wonderful weather. Who could ask for more? I feel great with no pain & no sugar problems. So healthy.

Interacted with many local people today. Great to be around folks with Swedish ancestry. The best!

I love everything Swedish. If you accuse me of anything else, you will be sorry.

Spent time at a museum & learned a lot of things. Made a great discovery. How fun that was!!! A fantasy came true last night!! Searching for kids' families. Found one group!!

I admire people who can fall sleep at the drop of a hat no matter where they are. Private or public. Cool & lucky.

I am making lots of changes after some faults I am now aware of. My faults have been pointed out to me. Hope I offend no one. And if I have, I apologize.

I am home now with my cats. All cats are sleeping. One met me at the door. Nice.

I made a decision to eat in town today. Great. Food!!

3/2026 - Tisdagen den 17:e - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Gertrud

Have had an ok day. Not warm but windy. Gusts around 40mph. Western KS is in the 60s & sunny. Not here.

My trash bins never got put up right. Trashmen set them up & picked up some trash that came out of them.

Today I saw a cat near my porch looking for food. I fed him & I went back inside. As I walked down the hallway I saw him in the yard. He was gorgeous!! Very dark grey with a striped design. This is what he looked like. I googled cats. He looked very healthy.

JR & I went to eat at Jalisco's. AJTR bought me cookies from Walmart that are to die for!! He was quite surprised when I said to him "gracias por galletas". Thanks for the cookies. He had no idea I knew the spanish word for cookies. I took a spanish class one summer & galletas was in that class. MS was so proud of both him & me able to sort of talk to each other without her help. Here are the galletas.

When I left my house it was lightly raining. All the way to Jalisco's. And it never got warm here. Only in the low 50s.

Only emailed with JL. And a few photos from MM.

Then I got a message from a friend sad that I have to put up with being treated badly on Lindsborg Now. And MM was almost yelling to me some guy was saying awful things about me & rules for our group. He must have deleted that post but he posted a photo of his truck for sale with money & stuff posted that is not allowed. I deleted his post & banned him for life. And I went to block him from me personally.

I am ill prepared for photos today. I went way back in time to choose some old, old ones I either took or saved. Lots of memories to see.

Mom & her sisters. Miss them more than words can say. Aunt Thelma Arcel, Aunt Martha Lee, & Mom. Aunt Thelma went by Arcel in Lindsborg but by Thelma in Denver. I called her either one depending my mood & where we were. And her husband, Uncle Max, always made sure when I was there we spent a day up in the mountains. He knew I loved it up there. No one else ever took me there. Miss him too.
