07/2026 - Tuesday the 28th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day:  Botvid , Seved 

    Today was same as yesterday.  Home alone & little communication with anyone.  Be good to be at work tomorrow.  Only an email today.  Everyone else ignored me.  Everyone stays in contact with their own friends & makes sure they are ok.  I am not one of them.

    Cooler today.  Only got to 96F today.  House was ok.  Super humid outside.  Ick.  Southern KS was still over 100F.  Wichita weatherman was all disappointed that they have not hit 100F yet.  Idiot.  Who wishes for temps over 100F??

    We did get sprinkles during the night.  Not enough to get excited about.  Now they say there might rain here in the morning,

    The hospital called this morning to schedule the xray that Dr. Baxa wants done.  First week of August I will have it done.  Nothing too major.

    This week is too busy.  I need to order groceries for me but I have no time to pick it up.  Very frustrating,  Just need lunch meat for Cinder & I.  Might need JR to get some for us.  Have to take him to McPherson this week about his cellphone bill.  Oh well. I will manage. I have time on saturday but I will be out by then.

    Cinder scared me big time today.  I got up & she had not been in the bedroom for a long time.  I fed Daisy, fixed my lunch & turned the TV on.  No Cinder.  I finally called for her.  No Cinder.  I called for a long, long time.  She finally came crawling out from the front of the house.  She came to cuddle for a long time.  And she close since then.

    A good friend is in Italy this week.  Lucky him.  He is sharing wherever they eat & city street scenes.  As close to traveling I will get.  I would enjoy just to get to Great Bend.  Ha.  Not going to happen.  Only if I go alone.

Willie & his best friend had a combine they entered in demolition derbies.  And won often.  They won the one at the Kansas State Fair.  Very exciting.  Photo from the 100th anniversay of Falun & Willie driving our combine in our parade.  He is pointing to someone. Fairbury Nebraska.  Nice city.  There was a birthday & a wedding.  Back when I was part that family.  Miss those days.

07/2026 - Friday the 24th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day;  Kristina , Kerstin

I had cousins with these names.  Love them both.  especially how Kerstin is pronounced.

    Today was a so-so day.  Or in Spanish más o menos.  Slept ok.  Stress is over whelming.  As is depression.

    Had on odd morning.  My phone rang at 9am.  The hospital.  But  I was not with my phone.  No message left so I called them back,  I finally talked to a nurse & she knew what it could be & who.  There is a test Dr. Baxa wanted on bone density or something like that.  The nurse got me to who did that test.  I told her my name & being a patient of Dr. Baxa.  She heard my name & hung up.  I called back to leave her my phone number.  Now for the rest of the day everytime I got a text I checked.  Not helping my stress.  Someone could have explained why no one wanted to talk to me.  Either the schedule it or they don't.  Will call next week again.

    Warmer today.  In the 90s.  Had a brief shower early morning.  Now there is no chance for rain for a week & a half.  But really humid here today.  And a few days of extremely hot.  

    I planned to eat supper out but woke up from my nap sick to my stomach.  Probably what I ate for lunch.

    Had an email from JL & a photo or two from MM.  And saw a good friend is flying to Denver.  I can only dream.  Wish there was a local uber driver who could take me to Wichita.. HA.

    I rarely  watch CH 12 but mostly CH 10.  I really like their weather man.  But today is his last day.  Moving back to Austin, Texas.  I will miss him.  Wish him luck.  Going to be in charge of a station there & their entire weather department.

    That my day.  Nothing fun.  No caring.  Sigh.

I think it was either a photo taken at Easter or my 6th grade graduation.  I remember that the dress was green checks with lace.  I do not look happy.  Childhood was difficult for me.  All family locally had nothing to do iwth me.  I could not please my parents.  Will stop there.
