Today's Name Day:  Victor, Vincent

I have known several Victors.  Mom sewed for a clothing store owner named Carl Victor Hanson.  Cool guy.  His son & I were in the same class.  He is an awesome guy too.  Nice memory!!

    Had a better day.  Got sick last night but today was ok.  Lunch was fine.  Not sure how much to eat so it was a guess.

    I took a short nap.  With my babysitters.  Kisse was in bed with me twice.  Cinder is all curled in front of my TV now.

    I got up & washed some dishes.  Long overdue.

    MM was here this morning early.  He rearranged some boxes & supplies outside.  Helped me a lot.  I did more after lunch.

    Had an email from JL & a  photo from CF but no visit.  Normal.  JR quiet so far.  KN texted me to see if I needed anything before the storm.  Think I am ok.  He can move boxes after the storm.  Must keep my water dripping!!  Maybe do the kitchen this time also.

    Weather continues as they have said for days.  Snow maybe lasting a bit longer than originally forecast.  Two separate fronts coming here.  Explains my aches & pains.

    Many stores, activities, games, etc. are closing this weekend state wide.  Many here in Lindsborg.  Even the Old Mill.  I hope they close so my coworkers are home safe.  One restaurant in Marquette is closed from now until Sunday.  Not sure they will get a lot a business even on sunday noon.

    MM made the mistake of offering to bring me anything I want tomorrow morning.  And by gosh I sent a request.  I have no idea of his work schedule so he maybe he cannot bring it out but I took a chance!!!  I am so brave!!  Be part of my writing today!!  (Just got a text.  MM will make it happen!!!!!  💓)

    I have trouble with my feet & think that compression socks could help.  But they are all too tight & hurt.  I finally saw some that are larger.  They came today.  Not difficult to put on.  And feel ok.  Maybe will help.

    Alert from the weathermen ---- the first front is now in Kansas.  Temps will be dropping soon.

    Photos are a mix.  The ones I added are old ones that I think I never used..  So if they look familiar & I apologize.  I looked at some old blogs & did not find them.  I hope.

Wandering, 08 february 2022

    Unfortunately not a better day.  I got no sleep until around 6am.  I was comfortable and not restless, but, but some tears.  Nico and Kisse both slept well.  I was blessed with staying awake. 

    Spring warmth today.  Means the bugs will be flying and getting in the house again.  Wonderful.  Without a cold winter, bugs will be awful here this summer.  I need to see about getting my small porch changed and screened in.  Then I can be outside without being food for flying bugs.  And a few crawling ones.

    The one weather lady I am no longer watching.  She has a chart now she brags about and shows daily on tv of showing how there will be no more winter within a month or so.  As if I am not depressed enough.  I surely am not the only one who cares?  But she is soooo jolly!  Good for her.

    High winds and fire warning today.  Will only get worse with no rain/snow.  And.  There was a fire east of Hutchinson.  Still fighting it now.  Several homes had to be evacuated.  Scary.  A couple of years ago a fire started in the pasture next to my house.  I sat outside and watched and did not fear too much.  There was a group fighting.  It came up suddenly and our neighbour saw it and thought he could put it out alone.  He could not.  Then help was called.

    I signed up for Topic, a streaming service.  Many things from Europe and Scandinavia.  I started watching a show last night about Greenland.  The star's father was stationed there when he was a child.  He is traveling all over the country.  It was quite interesting.  People are from there from the states, Denmark, and locals.  I actually understood a few words and there is something the people do in Sweden I heard.  Cannot explain it.  It is beautiful there but life is hard

    I put a camera low to the floor on my porch.  There is a new cat there.  I put out a tiny amount of cat food and he likes it.  Not enough to kill his appetite for mice!!

    Might watch the Olympics and might not.  Maybe just some of it.  Not in the mood for much.

    I need to turn the news off also.  Too many dumb people.  Now a huge group of Americans in semis are blocking a bridge going in to Canada.  What??  And they aren't leaving.  Businesses in the area are closed.  Some truckers are broke.  That is good for them.  They are protesting all mask mandates but not just in the US.  Lord help us.  We will never get over this pandemic.  They said we are now in a new stage that is called demic where we have given up fighting it and just live with it ---- deaths and all.  But in another country?? Unreal.

    Photos are all photos I took today on my travels to get groceries.  Then I edited them for fun.  My favorite photo is of a very old metal tractor my neighbours have.  I want to drive closer to it and take different views.  Love it!!
