9/2026 -Saturday the 12th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Åsa , Åslög

I  did have a swedish friend named Åsa.  But never hear from her anymore.  We were just friends on Flickr.

    Today was a good day.  I slept good after being up too early.  I rarely woke up.  On weekends when MH is opening for me I try to be there early.  That way he can go eat as he wants.

    There was a couple who came in right away.  I got organized & signed in, donated, started taking photos right away.  Both east & west rooms are full of art.  very good.  His photos are easy to take photos of so tomorrow I have to put them in a folder & name it.

    Weather has been awesome. The low was 71F.  The high was 85F.  This weather app shows monday to be 100F.  But only one day.  All other days are 80s to 90s.  And possibly rain.  It is hopeful. But is it true???

    JR came in to see MH art & take photos.  He took lots of photos.  I think MH is talking again at the end of the month.  I will make that talk!!!

    The afternoon was rather steady with visitors of all ages.  Pleasant.  I never got tired.  I charged my iPad & then my phone.  I left my bag there under the desk.  Saved me carrying it twice.

    Think I have weekend eating figured out.  I am not paying to eat twice every weekend.  One saturday will eat at Jalisco's the next weekend is Sunday at China.  That seems fair.

    Fun to see my amigos at Jalisco's plus I heard from a friend in Mexico.  I have been worried about him.

    I got my glucose sensors yesterday & just got one hooked up.  The first one did not work.  So threw it away.  Second one is perfect.  Great!!

    Going to my Swedish group was great yesterday.  Many actually were glad to see me.  Lots of greetings & hugs.  And the president asked if I would lead the group in Our Father in Swedish.  I was honored.  Nice.  A friend is here from New York so we sat together like we used to.  Good times.

    I actually feel good today.  Rare.  Except when I got home my knee about gave out.  No bueno.  Right now it is quiet.  I have had neck pain for 2 days.  Why?  Better tonight.

9/2026 -Thursday the 10th - MY JOURNEY

 

This book is written by a good friend,  He is part of the Hollywood information.  He has written books & helped with movies & books & movie info.  I have this ordered.  I will not mention is name.  He is special in my life & I do not want to hear local people put him down. As usual  Not nice people.

Today's Name Day:  Turid, Tord,

    Today much better day. Much.  I figured out last night why I could not load/post pictures.  And I fixed it before going to bed but did not test it.

    Lunch today was with HS our Old Mill director.  What a fun lunch.  Really enjoyed it.  Things are so expensive in the Crown & Rye.  A simple lunch menu would be nice.  We both got hamburgers & fries.

    When we left I went to the bank where my credit card would not work.  I explained what happened & they decided to just make me a new card.  And I tested it.  Whew!!

    After the bank was to pick up my groceries.  I really need to shampoo my hair but it wears me out so much..  I opted for a short nap.  Cinder crawled in bed & never left.  Very nice.  Kisse was in her bed.  She had ignored her bed for a while.  I thought maybe the cat beds  smelled like "old cats" so I got the litter box spray & sprayed both their beds.  Must have helped.  I liked it too!!

    After supper I tackled the huge box of mail out side.  I knew that was a bag of cat food.  The rest was small stuff.  Easy.

    Next was Spanish & it worked better than last night.

    Great weather today.  Loving it.  Hope it lasts & no more 100+ temps.

    Up super early tomorrow.  Going to Swedish Group which used to be the Swedish Friendship Group.  It is NOT the Fika group.  But no one asks me anymore.  No longer part of it.

    Photos today are flower ones that showed up in memories today.  And I took several photos after leaving the Crown.

    Someone close to me is freaking out over his birthday.  Wish I could help.  He has tons of friends that will make sure he celebrates & has fun.  I try to be caring but knowing that my birthday is mostly ignored by everyone just makes me more depressed.  As close as I get to anyone caring maybe cookies at work.  No José to make me feel cared for.  Such is my life.  I always got cards from Mom & my Denver family. But they are all dead.

9/2026 - Saturday the 5th - MY JOURNEY

 

Wish that was now!!

Today's Name Day:  Heidi , Adela

Remember Heidi from a movie.  Have a friend now named Adela.  She is MA & TA daughter.  Their youngest child

    Today was a good day & good night.  Slept good. My blindness was mostly just grey.

    Today was a busy, busy day.  But all was enjoyable.

    Late this afternoon there were rain clouds near me at  home. Of course there was nothing to make of them.  It all blew up & left.  Our high today was 103.6.  KN came this morning & fixed my indoor/outdoor temp reader.  It is back on my tree.  And low enough I can easily reach it,

    Had an emial from JL.  Good to hear from her.  Only heard from MM last night as he was on the way to a wedding.  He added no photos or anything.  Only of getting a hair cut today.

    When I spent some time with Daisy today the air was really heavy.  I planned for later. More mail here.  Got some wild animal repellent.  Will it work???

    Feels better out now.  No wind or humidity.  It is 88F now.  And no bugs bothering.

    was going to do laundry tonight.  Later.  Have my wet clothes dryer cleaned off.  Should do it before bed.

My necklace was made by a friend Who is the non to a really good friend of mine.  Refuse to say his name.  Too many dislike him..  Need to wear it more often.

Added some family photos of people important to me.  

This is a distant cousin who lives in the NW & Arizona.  We never got to meet.  But we used to text often.  Now he is sick so not so often.

Oso & me.  Sometimes I miss him so much I cry.  So far away.  And he is always too busy.

Cousin Irma

Cousins that went to Bethany & were married in my church.  She became a minister and a mom but became very Very ill.  They had a sweet son but she did not survive.  Bad diabetes.

Cousin from Californis who just recently died of cancer.  Loved him. Having a service for him in Denver.  I probably have someone to feed my cats but there is no one who could or would drive me to Denver for it. I have cried having to miss it. And getting to see his partner. No family & no friends..  I am so sad. No one cares.
