Just a day of rest for me. Nice just to regroup. Good for me.
I got out my straps for my trash bins. I have both lids fixed in place. To be windy tomorrow so will see if they work. I hope so! Our humidity is very low so fire danger is worse. Right now our humidity is 22%. Really low. Chance for rain too.
I had my fur kids outside as I worked on the trash bin straps. None had the metal hooks on them. The first one went really easy. But the second one was quite a challenge. No idea if I did them right or not.
Before I took the kids in they were interested in something. I never went to look. Just now took Nico out & I saw what it was. A tiny dead snake. I bet Cinder killed it. Last night she would not come in. She was under the porch messing with something. Sure it was the snake. Nico was just fascinated. He kept scraping at it & carried it around. I was hoping he would not try to bring it in the house. Ick! He carried it out in the grass & I got him to come back to me & in we went.
I got photos of my pear tree. Not really full of blooms but not too bad either, considering our drought.
No celebrating Easter for me. Actually we never did for years. Mom always sang in a chorus so she had no time to do anything. When I was little I always had a new dress, new shoes, lacy socks, silky gloves, & a hat with flowers. There should be a photo of me but do not have one.
No place is open to eat at tomorrow. We are making other plans. Will be ok. One place is open but it is a buffet & would be ok with me but not for JR.
