Known many Freds.  No one with this first name.

    Had an awful night.  Today got better after lunch.  My blood sugar would not stay at a safe reading.  Low all night.  I got full of snacks or glucose tabs.  No sleep.

    Called in sick today.  Now I am full of guilt.  No lunch out & no work.  Home alone with little contact with people.  Email from JL & texts from MM.  And a late guilt photo sent.  No words.  Why bother???

    Had a good nap.  Cinder was next to me all afternoon.  Kisse was near.  They babysat me.  Bless them.

    JR wrote after taking photos of the high school homecoming events.  Glad someone had a good day.  I am so sick of being alone & ignored.  Tomorrow will be the same.  No eating out.  Street dance.  I have not been for years.  No need to sit there alone & watch others dancing & enjoying their friends.  JR had to call to tell about his good day.  Good for him.  Nothing good about today for me.

    Now in a storm watch.  Was raining here but gone for now.  More on the way.  I do not care for now.  Most likely nothing dangerous.

    Supper was potato soup.  Something new I bought.  Needed lots more bacon.  Should have my own to add.  It was good otherwise.  Will buy again.

    TV show I am watching is about the Mormons.  The founder worked on a distant relative of mine's farm.  So I have a connection to the religion.  And many ancestors in it.  Hard to follow someone with  ten wives & many kids!!!  No belief.  I no longer believe in any religion.

    Will blog & do my spanish lesson.  Been easy for a couple of days.  Trying to ignore the news, etc.  Really tired of all the crap in our country.  Stupid & scary.

Sheltering in Place, Mood Of Silence, Day 241......

 I had a busy and fun day. Even if I had to get up early!!! Today the former Fox Theater now the steifel Theater replaced the tower that was on the top of it from 1931. JR and I went to Salina and got food at Sonic and then found a parking spot where we could see and he could walk to it. It was exciting to see. The first photos I took were good but the last ones sucked. The sun was in my eyes. I could not see with or without glasses and they were all blurry. Damn. I posted a couple of the tower, one of me, and a trinket from Thailand. Also posted photos I edited.

I was tired and went home to nap. Then got JR again as this is our Jalisco night. It was pretty slow except for take out meals. Had time to chat with JS. And it was DG's birthday. MA came in for a minute. Good meal. Made me smile. JS had a couple of videos he shared. Funny.

Beautiful weather today. Pleasant and no wind. We were supposed to get rain on friday. BUT. Now it will miss most of Kansas. Glad they did not surprise me. I expected that.

Covid is totally of control. Wichita and the county it is so bad. They opened the schools, just allowed bars to stay open until 2am, opened restaurants. Well today they had 452 new cases. Yikes!! Glad my RA doctor did not want to see me this week. Debating what to do abaut schools, bars to close at 10 or 11, no dine in restaurants, no more than 15 people may gather anywhere. My county has changed too and we have up to 60 new cases daily. Masks all the time unless eating, no more than 15 in a gathering and no more than 6 sitting together in a restaurant. My church never opened up to sunday services. Another church has been open and seems like more cars every sunday. Interesting to see how many are there this sunday. Jalisco's is fine as they are. No one gets close. Only change is no putting tables together for big groups.

Thanksgiving is soon. JR and I have no where to go and no family to be with. We have sort of decided to get turkey sandwiches, pumpkin pie and cans of spray whipt cream!! I think we each will have our own can! And try not to have a food fight!! And we have a movie we will watch. Probably better than family. No stress.

Nico was less demanding tonight. Pleasant. He has a small spot on his nose near one eye that bleeds sometimes. Maybe the cat nailed him. I have heard either of them screech but no blood or anything broken. It must itch so he scratches and then it knocks the scab off and bleeds a tiny bit.
