Today's Name Day:  Amelie , Amalia

I don't know anyone with these names other than a movie called Amelie.  Love it.

    Just another day at home.  No emails or texts.  No cat family.  Anything from MM was not for me.  About his friends  And that Gracie had escaped already.  Hope she is ok.

    I cancelled eating out yesterday. & today.  I maybe could have but don't trust my body.  One of my friends also did not feel well so we all skipped lunch today.

    I have done ok,  Slept part of last night & had a nap today.  I do not feel wonderful.  I hurt all over & no one has a clue.  No one asks how I am so they think all is well.  Things are rarely well.  Life with chronic diseases.  Few realise how it is.  Or care.

    I accidently called KN at 2am last night.  What a idiot I am.  He called right away to check,  I did notice last night that all my boxes I had sorted were gone.  He picked them up a day or so ago.  And he was  the one who fixed my trash bins.  So thankful.  He is the best.  But we had 50+ mph winds a couple of nights ago & the bins are a mess again.

    Cinder slept near me all night & today.  No idea where Kisse was today.  Probably in the bedroom.  But she stayed close last night.

    Photos are from one artist & a variety of things I like.  Hard to please everyone but my blog so be it.  Still not in a flower mood.

08/2025 - Viernes the 08th - JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Silvia, Sylvia

The Swedish queen is Silvia.  Mom was friends with a Sylvia.

    Still sickly.  No more stomach problems but lots of RA things.  I can walk but not stand up straight like I should.  Called in sick at work.

    I mostly rested.  Email from one friend.  Few texts from MM.  Chatted with AP at work.  Miss him & LL.  That was my day.  Mostly no support from anyone.  I am abandoned.

    Super hot today.  I saw 104F here.  Same for tomorrow.  I will make it to work tomorrow.  No choice.  Filling in for someone.  Can park close.  Might skip supper & just go home.

    TV sucks today.  ICT had some teens get in a shooting fight at a mall so that was on often.  I don't live there.  Don't care.  Found some taped shows I am watching.

07/2025 - Martes the 29th- JOURNEY

 

So easy to do.  Should make some again.  Lay flowers on a couple of layers of paper towels.  Arrange flowers. on card stock paper. Cover with more paper towels.  Pound with a hammer.

    Another day at home alone.  My usual day when not working.  Wish I would get used to being alone.  Cats are probably tired of me talking to them.  😻

    I slept pretty well.  And when I napped also.  Kisse stayed with me.  Cinder was somewhere else.

    Woke up from my nap feeling sick,  Wanted nothing for supper.  I ended up with popcorn.  And some cake.  Living the high life.

    Awful weather today.  I saw 99.5F here.  Cool overnight.  Cooler weather starts tomorrow.  Finally.  Rain in NW Kansas.  Not anywhere near here.

    Heard from JL & photos from MM & CW.  They are having fun.  Good for them.

    Not much to say today.  Photos are some really old ones I found.
