08/2025 - Jueves the 28th - JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Fatima, Leila

    Pretty good day.  Slept good when I finally fell asleep.  Had a thunderstorm around 3am.  Had some thunder & lightning.  I got a total of 0.68".  More than usual.  Nice.  Today stayed cloudy & dry.  Pretty cool.  Nice.  Hope this weather lasts for a long time.

    Lunch with girlfriends was cancelled.  Will meet next week.  I was tired so not upset.

    Jalisco's reopened.  Totally new look.  Will miss the brick walls.

    Met my artist friend RG.  We met at the Sale BARn.  I was a bit early & got to make friends with our waitress & the owner of the business who is also the cook.  Got bad news though.  RG is leaving earlier than he & I thought.  He goes home on saturday.  Dang.  I love his company.  He is fun to talk to but I always talk too much. Probably since I an lonely often.  Next year he is not here until September.  Too long to wait.  We have decided to make phone calls.  Be nice.

    Lowering my insulin is better so far.  RA sucks big time.  Awful.

    When I headed for home I noticed how low my fuel was.  Yikes!!!  Thank goodness I was still in town.  Close call.

05/2025 Fredag the 23rd - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Today's Name Day:  Desideria, Desirée

    Had a great day!  Met LL for lunch at the White Peacock for lunch.  New art there for sale.  Awesome.  Hope to have photos to share tomorrow.  Fave artist MH was there & the owner was there adding cool things.  She is a very special lady!  I treated myself to a cranberry lemon pudding muffin & green tea.'

    Before work & fueled the car!!  Yikes I was almost on empty.  Scary!!

    Worked at the Old Mill.  Finished the photos I was working on.  There was a total of 100 photos.  Grabbed another big handful of photos.  Got them all sorted by size looked through a few to see if LL knew names.  There were quite a few I knew some names.  When I got to work it was raining.  Did not last too long. Then dry.

    Supper was Mexican.  I had a burger & fries.  Not too hungry.  They do nice burgers.  Found another Mexican place in McPherson that has pasta dishes.  I plan to try it.  Yum..  Quite a bit more expensive.  Still trying it.

    Got home & took a short nap.  Really tired.  Long day.  Cinder was glad to see me.

    We are now in a severe storm watch.  Do not like that.  Probably won't get much sleep.

    I learned my lesson this week.  Keep my mouth shut about things got me upset earlier.  Worked good.  No tears tonight.

Nothing interesting or fun on the National Day Calendar.  Found a gnome photo I like.

Today's Name Day: Evald, Osvald

      Not a bad day.  Slept ok.  Cinder stayed nearby & in bed.  At naptime, she slept on me the entire nap.  She has not asked to go outside once since her traumatic day outside.  I went out to get mail & she never looked up.  Not sure she is eating good.  I am worried.  I wonder what happened to her.  Or what she saw.

    Got nice & cool overnight but too dang hot today.  I saw 93.  Ick.  Little cooler tomorrow then saturday is super high again.  Another ick,

    Had supper with LL from work.  We had food from the Stuga.  Very good.  We had a great talk.  I enjoy her company.  Nice day.

    I waited to fuel my car but was scared the price would go higher.  It did not.  Nice & cheap.  Always good.  Fun to fuel for a change.

    Driving in to town & saw a couple of familiar looking guys in a field.  It was KN & his son CN.  We had a short conversation on our phones.  He is back to building a fence here tomorrow.  He warned me it would be noisy. Too hot to plant wheat.  I will make sure Cinder stays inside.

    Little pain today.  Just the usual.  It moves around,  My back today.

National Park Service Founders Day

This is my favorite national park in Utah, Bryce Canyon.

Today's Names Day: Louise, Lovisa

    I had a good day.  Did not get the best sleep but got a nice nap.  I was really tired when I got home tonight,  Now running very late blogging,. 

    Supper was at Pizza Hut.  I had pasta & breadsticks.  I ate one breadstick & most of my pasta.  And feel ok.  Good.

    Very hot again today.  Saw 103F in my car driving.  Still forecasting 100+ for tomorrow. Then starts to cool,  Rain on late wednesday & thursday.  One weather showed next week highs in the 70s???  Believe when I see it.  Would be heaven.

    Then JR got some groceries.  I just got some deviled eggs.  Been wanting them while I was sick.

    Then I needed fuel,  Went to my usual place.  It refused my 2 credit cards & my brothers.  Sheesh.  I gave up,  Went to the other place.  Now all their pumps you must go in to prepay before using,  No credit cards.  Then when getting fuel you cannot see how much is going in.  I was not very happy.  I was hurting in my back & not in the mood to walk around,

    Just went to get Cinder in.  Why can she not just walk in??  Not in the mood to wait on her,  Maybe she likes being carried!!!
