National Grouch Day

    Had an ok day.  Nothing special.  Got too much mail today.  Big boxes.  Sheesh.  I got all my boxes organised.  Have to try to make sure they don't blow.  I can hope, but the wind is already blowing.  And one box moved.  I moved the boxes back & shoved the bins in to the boxes tightly.  I have one box that is quite heavy. I put it on them.  Hope that helps.

    Got pretty cold last night.  In the 40s.  Freeze warning for my part of Kansas.  Low 30s or 20s.  There are a couple of places maybe teens.  I left my heat where I had it but I was chilly today.  But the sunshine warmed the house up.  The day tomorrow will not be freezing.  Just the night.

    Our rain has been pushed to early next week & not as strong.  I could have forecast that.  We need moisture so badly.  Not the weatherman's fault but I hate to even listen to them.

    Heard from MM again.  I am grateful to have him.  He remembers me almost daily.  Nice not to be forgotten.

    My eyes are not normal but not as bad as they were.  Have not sneezed either.  That comes & goes.

    I am so tired of politics.  It all makes me so scared.  I have enough  stress.

National Hero Day

Today's Name Day: Nils

    Just a rest day for me.  I mostly had little pain overnight until this morning it started again.  I have things I want to do but won't happen today.  Moving slow.

    Did not want to cook so lunch was popcorn.  And a chocolate chipt cookie.  Not bad.

    The weather was ok.  Low was 49 & the high was 80.  Quite cold weather is coming sunday.  Maybe our first frost.  But no chance of any rain.  Nothing wrong with our climate here  😔 😪

    We have smoke here.  From fires in the Montana, etc. areas.  Not from California.  Makes for gorgeous sunsets.  The sky stays hazy.  And it might bother some people's breathing.  So far I am ok.  There is no wind to move it out of here.  Or rain to help get rid of it.

    Cinder wanted out today.  Not seen her since.  Hope she is ok.  I should have said no. 😔

16 june, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Slept good last night.  Except for increased pain.  Everytime I got up I applied pain cream.  Same today.  Mostly back pain but several other places too.

    Last night when Nico, Cinder & I were outside, we had a toad near us.  They were interested in it but no one was stupid enough to pick it up.

    I am sure harvest continues, but nothing near me.  Miss it.  Had my harvest yesterday.  Nothing more for me.

    So far Nico is ok.  I do not understand him.  One minute he is biting me, then he curls up next to me.  Crazier than I am!

    We got no rain last night & none is forecast tonight.  Tomorrow we are to maybe have some.  It can wait.

    I cancelled today.  Hurt too much & simply did not feel like getting dressed & driving anywhere.  Wish I knew someone to deliver supper to me.  But there is no one.

    Tomorrow is Lindsborg's Midsommarsdag celebration.  I used to go but they changed parks & the one now is far too hot.  Not enough trees & too high temps.  And I cannot walk far or stand.  I have other things to do this year.

    Feels warmer today.  Or more humid.  Did not enjoy being outside.  Last night was so perfect.  Oh to have a screened in porch to sleep in.....  No such luck.  Amazon has something that could work but there would still be bugs.  I hate bugs.  A moth hit my head last night.  Yuck!
