Today's Name Day: Margit, Margot
I have known several Margarets. One was in my high school class. The other was a lady in town, Had one cousin Margaret.
Today was a quiet day. It is an official Jammie Day. No plans so no reason to get dressed.
Had rain this morning. We got a measely third of an inch of rain. Just enough to end harvest today.
In town is our yearly Midsommarsdag celebration. This year they moved it to downtown. Lucky it was not around 90F. All the pavement & sidewalks makes for super hot times. The only things that are not downtown are teams competing playing kubb. That is at the Old Mill. Then the celebration moves to the Old Mill. for singing, dancing, raising the may pole tonight. It is a nice event. I won't go & just be alone. And I cannot walk too far.
I actually added 2 new friends on FB today. One works at the Stuga. The other is part of the SVAFC. He needs someone to work on the 22 for him. Both are fun to talk to. Good people.
MM has been sick for several days. He is back at work today. I think he looks ok but he says he still feels awful. He & I are both dealing similar emotions today. And with our blood sugars.
Cinder gets a treat of real meat sometimes. Yesterday I got her slice of ham & I break it in 3 sections. I added some of my bbq beef. She ignored the ham & scarfed up the beef. I left some beef on my plate when I was done eating tonight. She cleaned it all up. Guess I can forget getting ham & just keep bbq here!!!!
At a Catholic church in Wichita. Gorgeous church. Went to the Spanish service there one night.
