Today's Name Day:  Severin, Sören

    I have had a better day.  Slept ok overnight.  Worried about MM flying today.  Flight was delayed but now on his way.  Still worrying.  Texts me often with lots of photos.  Helps my nerves!!  He is a big Packer fan & his pilot on this flight is also.  Cool.

    I ordered a new cane that is supposed to be steadier.  Seems how it works tomorrow.  It has a light on it but I am clueless how to put batteries in it.  Doubt I need it.  Maybe MM can help next week.  And it has a fold down handle to help getting up if needed.  That I will use.

    I feel better today.  Lunch did not upset my stomache so hoping work tomorrow will be good.  And eating out first.

    I sat outside for a while.  The air has a cool nip in it.  There is rain on the radar in Oklahoma.  Coming our way.  Starts around midnight.  Stayed cool today.  No AC needed.

    Cats seem to have a bigger appetites now.  In their winter mode?  Interesting.  Been a miserable summer & they did not care to eat much.  Me either.

05 april, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Last night was ok.  Cinder snuggled on me all night.  She is the best.  I slept ok.

    I got a message this morning that my boss is ill with a bad cold.  She thought I should not be around her.  Very nice of her to think of me.  Too many people only think of themselves & run all over town when too sick for words.  I worked at an art gallery when a friend came in.  She was at the far end of the room & coughed & sneezed horribly.  She had already exposed me to Covid!!!  I grabbed my mask & never took it off for a moment.  She sounded awful.

    I took a short nap after lunch.  Had decided in my mind I could do some work here in the house.  Totally forgot that JR & I eat out on wednesdays.  I remembered about the time to pick him up.  I was in no condition to go anywhere!!!  Maybe tomorrow!

    I have almost filled one trash bin with junk.  Not quite.  Decided to start now & not wait until the last day.  I have straps to put on my trash bins to keep the lids closed in wind.  Will deal with those tomorrow.

    Anytime things get moved in the house, Nico goes crazy.  He drove me nearly insane.  Kept getting into things & taking stuff & chewing on things.  He refuses to listen or mind.  Damn.  Finally he settled down.  I have most things blocked.  He is a brat!!

    With the low front gone, I feel better.  I am always stiff after laying in bed or on the sofa.  I still am but it is less now.  I am grateful.

    Nico & Cinder stayed outside while I worked in the living room & carried trash out.  Playing & fresh air did them good.  I was hoping it made Nico sleepy but I was wrong.  He is ok now.    

    After being up to 89F yesterday it dropped to 28F last nite.  Our high today was 50F.  Will be colder tonight.  Great!!  Good for sleep.
