6/2026 - Wednesday the 3rd - MY JOURNEY

 

I have discovered having an egg on rice at Jalisco's.  Excellent!!!

Today's Name Day:  Ingemar , Gudmar

I had a couple of Swedish relatives named Ingmar.  Special cousins.  Glad I got to meet them.

    Today was a good day.  I slept pretty good,.  Pain not too bad except my hands & wrists.  Really bad.  And today at work I banged my bad knee on either my chair or desk. Thought I would faint.  But I walked to my car ok,  Whew.

    LL was not at work .  Doing some paper work for her mother about moving here.  Tiring work,

    Figured out something new on the scanner.  I am trainable!!

    The swimming pool is open.  I got a few photos of kids on the slide.  And for some reason many of the kids come to the Old Mill for snacks.  Candy & soda.  No idea why.  But it keeps us busy!!!  And has happened for years.

    Supper was at Jalisco's.  Had not seen AR for a while.  I was scared he was upset with me.  But today he came to see me with smiles & a hug,  All is good

    I forgot to put any drinks in my frige to get cold.  JR ran into Dollar General for some diet soda for me. Good.

    I had ordered a new Remarkable 2 & it came today.  I use mine all the time.  This one is tiny.  Love it!!  It synched with what is on my original one.   Nothing awful. Still have my old one so I can copy from it if needed.

    Photos are many I have taken.  Great  clouds today.  I found some new flowers but they did not make it here.  Tomorrow they will be here.

    Rain in the area,  Got really humid after lunch,  Hate it.

5/2026 - thursday the 28th - MY JOURNEY

 

I want that burger.  No chance.

Today's Name Day:  Ingeborg , Borghild

I knew at least one Ingeborg but never a Borghild.

    Today was a much better day.  Slept good.  It stayed cool last night & all day today.  What a blessing.  And rain.  Last I checked I have had an inch.  Not the most of all but not the least either.  It now raining heavily & no sign of Daisy.  She ate earlier but hiding now.  It is wet everywhere.  Poor kitty.  Cat.babysitters napped near me today.

    No washer yet.  BUT!!!  Tomorrow is the day.  Hopefully there is a big enough break in the rains it can all get done.  I am excited.

    According to my one app I have had a little over an inch of rain.  So has KN.  Nice.  Helps a little.  I won't share with anyone,  I have been clued in that I do not know anything so I keep my mouth shut.  Everyone else knows more than me.  I was actually told so to my face and/or in a text.  So be it..

    Love the national news.  A lady got a ticket for driving holding a cellphone in her right hand.  But she has no right hand,  The deputy who wrote the ticket has now cancelled. it.  No duh!!!  He did not check thoroughly, did he???

    Everyone quiet today.  I am so used to being ignored,  Got a short email from JL.  Nothing from anyone else until just now.

    The beef photo I shared sure looks good.  Wish they were my supper.  I can dream on.........  Maybe I can eat out this weekend.  I hope.
