03/2026 - Fredag den 13:e - MY JOURNEY

Had a good Friday the 13th.

Today's Name Day: Greger

Known a Greg or two.

Had a good day. Got a bit tired at the end of my working day. Weather played havoc with my RA today. Pain kept increasing all day. No bueno. And nothing helped me feel better.

Started my day at the White Peacock for lunch with LL. Had good food & good conversation. The Old Mill has finally hired a new director. Great decision. Someone from Lindsborg with lots of experience in managing & writing grants. I am hopeful!!

I then worked at SVAFC. MH opened it around 30 minutes early. Someone came in right away. Not a lot of visitors today but a few. I never had time to get tired. But I did.

Supper for JR & I was at Jalisco's. Fun to see & chat with MA, MS, & AJTR. They were busy but not swamped. They made me laugh!!!

I tried to take a nap when I got home. And I was sleeping so nicely. And my alarm went off early. I was clueless. I accidently set a timer for one & a half hour. Duh. Short nap.

Before I went to town this morning there was a feral cat in my driveway. I got. a nice photo of him. I am sharing him tonight. He was grey.

There is a lady I have seen twice recently. She kind of looked familiar but not sure who she is. She even called me by my name. The worker at the Peacock who took my money who also looks familiar told me they were her parents. And they were the original owners of the Peacock, Of Course!!! And their daughter is an artist & I own 2 of her paintings. Glad she is back. I thought that is who she is.

I hate the weather here. Extra warm tomorrow. Usch. Sunday it starts warm but by afternoon it is down to 35F with 50mph winds again. Usch. Then next thursday our temperature is 80-90F. Double Usch. Heat, humidity, & more bugs. 😱. The weatherman on the tv is driving me crazy. He needs to shut up. Too giddy about it being hot.

3/2026 - Onsdag den 11:e - MY JOURNEY

This is an old photo. It is actually 60 years ago today!!! These are the seniors on the team. They are Jim, Dale, Randy, John, & Linda. Dale made the winning basket as the game ended & the buzzer rang out. Super exciting!! I was lucky enough to be there. I was also a senior. Still friends with Randy & John.

Today's Name Day: Edvin, Egon

Had a good day, mostly. Worked at the Old Mill. All was well except for the old scanner. It just won't work. I would change the settings & if it would scanning several photos I would keep using those settings. Right before time to go home the scanner was a mess. Like some of the program would just keep going back & forth in it. Could not scan & it would not turn off. I could not stop the app from working over & over. I turned the computer off but the scanner kept running. I had to figure out which was the electrical cord. I did not guess right to start with. I finally got it turned off. And it does this all the time. Not happy. Someone needs to come check it out.

Supper was at Jalisco's. AJTR saved my booth for me. We chatted a bit & then he disappeared. I think he was washing dishes tonight. MS was there & good to see her. And MA had time to chat a bit. Good meal. I had another burger & fries. Sooo good. They are the best.

Groceries came next. Now Cinder & I are happy!!!

Was a bit cooler today. Somehow I felt ok in the basement at work. Miracle. House is a bit chilly tonight. And we had high winds today. Hate wind. Very cold weather comes this weekend. More wind tomorrow. In a fire watch. Scary times.

I was really tired when I got home, I laid down to nap. I never fell asleep but Cinder cuddled with me the entire time. I need her more than sleep.

I had feelings of not belonging today. More than usual. No real reason for it. I really do not belong anywhere. Think I am still upset over my class reunion that no one could have bothered to tell me when, where, how much, food, etc. Think I will just skip it.
