6/2026 - Saturday the 13th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Aino , Aina

    Today was a quiet day with my cats.  Little to no contact with the outside world.  Everyone quiet.  I rested & napped. 

    It got quite hot today. I had 96F here.  Some breeze.  Thunder now.  We are in a storm watch.  Will just screw up my internet again.  Calling my phone company on monday.  They may be my problem.

    Sat outside to open mail boxes.  Daisy stayed close to supervise. . I could pet her.  Then I fed her supper.  See what bedtime is if she gets more.

    Had a harvest photo from CN.  He is a good driver.  And I am sure he is excited.  But if it rains tonight that is it for a day or two.

    I had things I wanted to do but no energy.  And too much pain.  They can wait.  I need to let someone know I have 2 trees down.  No one has been here to check on things or me..

    Got FIFA on.  Watched Brazil.  Now Scotland.  Not a fan of US soccer teams.  Foreign teams play much better.  Watched them for years longer.

6/2026 - Wednesday the 10th - MY JOURNEY

 

Having a Black Cow would be awesome.  Root beer, ice cream & chocolate sauce.

Today's Name Day:  Svante , Boris

The only Boris I know was the actor.

    Today was not the best.  Had trouble walking from pain.  Could not walk down basement steps safely.  No work.  And no sleep.

    Mail delivered just as it was Daisy's lunch time.  She was hidden good. I put food out assuming she would find it.  She did not.  Got it later.

    I was really suprised just now.  Needed to go to my mailbox & trash had been picked up.  Only 2 days late.  But maybe their office had no electricity in Salina that prevented them from working making charges.  Who knows.

    Just got word that the River Festival is on for this weekend.  The park now has electricity.  Great for Salina.  I never used to miss the festival.  Looked at all art & sometimes bought a piece of it or a piece of jewelry.  Watched musical groups.  People watched.  Had BBQ for lunch & a dessert.  But the "friend" I went with is no longer a friend.  She should not have been then either.  Glad it is over.  Alone is better.  I guess but I miss some of our activities.

    I was out of some cat food but found a box of it delivered on my porch.  Thank goodness.  Great.  Cats will be grateful.

    High temp today was 96F at my house.  Severe storms again here.  Round #3.  At least 2 more rounds forecast.

    Just me & the cats today.  Communication is quiet.  Only my coworker wrote when I called in sick.  Cats are my support group.  

    I miss sharing my drawing photos but no one likes them so I look but don't share.  I only want to please others.
