Familiar with these names.

    Had a hell of a night last night.  My weather alarm radio was constantly sending alerts.  I had to get up to shut it off.  It is new & I am clueless.  I finally moved it to next to my bed.  Then played with it.  NOW it is set correctly.  I was awake until after 6am.  Did sleep this morning.  And this afternoon.

    Woke up around noon today & it was thundering then.  Thunder & rain now also.  Maybe get the storms done before bedtime.  And my electricity has been off three times.  Not for long.

    Bad storms in southern Kansas.  Hutchinson had a wind gust of 89mph.  And Wichita had a gust of 101mph.  That is the strongest in their history.

    Had winds here of around 40-50mph.  No damage.  So far around 2 inches of rain.

    Texted MM last evening.  I am so worried for him and his sons. He is working all week so I am going to try to see him often around my schedule.  Miss seeing him.

    Cooler today.  Good day.  Wish it would last.  Cool summer weather in Kansas??? Hahaha!!!  Oh, the dreams of fools........

    I texted with LL.  The river the Mill sits on is 6 feet higher today.  Wow!!!  Not seen it that high in a long time.  Small leaks in the Mill itself.

    No one texted today.  All busy.  Except for PR who used to work at Jalisco's.  His 6 year old daughter & I video chatted.  How sweet!!!  Made my day!!

15 february, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Glad yesterday is over & done with.  Feel at least 50% better.  I did get up earlier than usual yesterday after sleeping good.  I had a pile of boxes to flatten.  Still inside until the weather is better.  Rested but no nap.

    Slept good last night.  I am using a product called Feals.  The max dose might be a bit too much.  The medium dose is better.  Not only for sleep.  Can use if one is tense during.  Need one to put in my purse besides by me bed.

    Work day today.  I finished the book of photos of the dam & river.  Now I am using a book of when they were restoring the mill.  I can choose what ones are interesting, especially if there are people in them.  Interesting.  I recognised one lady but no one else.

    I love the Mill & being there.  I love the 3 people I share an office with.  Or rather they share with me!!  Certainly not my office.  My boss is the best.  We made plans for next week to go out & eat.  Might change my chiropractor app't to make it easier.

    Today during the first 2 hours of work, my friend SM & I texted back & forth.  Time just flew by!!  That was kind of him.  Glad we are friends.

    JR & I ate at Jalisco's.  They were sort of quiet.  I stopped at noon for a coke to go.  Quiet then also.  Maybe the cold.  Maybe the football parade on TV.  Who knows?

    I found a RA site on FB that is so nice.  And supportive.  Nice to hear others write exactly how I feel.  And no one judges.  I know that most in my life do not want to hear me whine nor do they understand how difficult having 3 chronic diseases plus being alone with few family, no spouse, few friends.  Need to be there more often.  Sometimes I tell someone when they ask how I am & they sort of laugh at what I say.  Are they uncomfortable?  Or do they really not care?  Hard to know.  Best to lie.

    We have been in a winter storm watch or warning since yesterday.  Tonight JR said it had all changed.  Only 1" of snow & starting late.  I was devastated.  Joy for the summer/spring people.  But I got home & looked for MY county not Lindsborg's county.  Big change.  I have a small amount of hope.  But my batting average for getting what I want or need is the lowest.

    I am trying to be & think positive.  I am not religious in anyway but I talk to the spirits/angels that surround me.  I think they help.

26 January, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Not a good night or day.  I thought my supper dessert was too rich.  Might have been but I stayed sick all night & all today.  No bueno.

    Got home after supper last night & Nico was sickly also.  Clueless as to why.  I looked for clues he got into something but I saw nothing.  He could not potty as he was too busy eating grass.  I would have tried a handful of grass if I thought it might work for me too.

    I got no sleep last night until this morning.  I had an appointment to get the car looked at but cancelled.  Will rescheduled next week.

    I ate some supper but could not finish.  Just was icky.  I am in the process of canceling tomorrow.  A..t least some things.  The thought of Mexican food or even a burger makes me queasier.  😡

    I tried to nap this afternoon but I hurt too much.  My SoftWave treatment has helped but it has no effect on my sciatica.  Dang, that sure hurts.  Surely no fun.  I finally slathered on pain killing cream.  Feel better now.

    Photos are just a mix of things I liked.  The last photo is Willie in his truck, Kajsa-Jo, & Nico.  The Christmas town & Santa I just did today.  The young women are an old old Smoky Valley Roller Mill photo.  The are on the traffic bridge over the Smoky Hill River.  There is also a bridge for the trains.  And a festive photo of me!
