Día perdido

Hoy no va como lo planeé. Nico y yo dormimos hasta tarde. Pero tuve que cancelar la comida y mi clase de sueco. Todavía estamos sembrando trigo y soy su ayudante para mover tractores y más. Pensé que si intentaba ir a algún lado, me prepararía y me llamarían. O solo pide comida y recibe la llamada. Demasiado estrés. Más fácil para mí cancelar.

El clima de ayer fue simplemente increíble. Cálido y sin vientos huracanados. Es bueno que Nico salga todo el día. Mucho más fresco hoy con algo de viento. Nico salió por un tiempo esta tarde. Estaba soleado entonces. Mañana es muy frío, ventoso y tal vez llueva.

Fotos de hoy son de un viaje a Utah, Nuevo México y Colorado hace un par de años. Ojalá pudiera volver a hacerlo. ¡Increíble!

     

Lost day

Today is not going like I planned. Nico and I slept late. But I had to cancel eating out and my Swedish class. We are still sowing wheat and I am his helper to move tractors and more. I figured if I tried to go anywhere, I would get all ready and then get called. Or just order food and get the call. Too much stress. Easier on me to cancel.

The weather yesterday was just awesome. Warm and no gale force winds. Nice for Nico to be out all day. Much cooler today with some wind. Nico went out for a while this afternoon. It was sunny then. Tomorrow is really cold, windy, and maybe rain. 

Photos today are from a trip to Utah, New Mexico, & Colorado a couple of years ago. Wish I could go on it again. Awesome!  

     

Día aburrido pero relajante

No hice nada hoy. Había planeado ir a la ciudad, pero era demasiado flojo.

Hace mucho frío. Fue 20F o -6.6. Sin viento, eso ayudó. En realidad, mi habitación estaba demasiado caliente toda la noche. Duro para dormir A diferencia de Nico, quien duerme bien.

Nico ha sido flojo hoy. Muchas siestas. Salimos afuera por un tiempo. Cálido en el sol. Tomé algunas fotos e hice un video en vivo de Facebook.

Con suerte, la mayor parte de nuestro trigo se plantará este fin de semana mientras tenemos ayuda. Difícil para mi cónyuge hacerlo solo. Y él no debería estar trabajando solo. Tengo miedos y mucho estrés

Divertido domingo de mañana y luego viene otro frente frío.

Boring Day but Relaxing

I did nothing today. I had planned on going to town but too lazy.

Got really cold last night. It was 20F or -6.6. No wind so that helped. Actually my bedroom was too warm all night. Hard to sleep. Unlike Nico who sleeps well.

Nico has been lazy today. Lots of napping. We did go outside for a while. Warm in the sun. I took some photos and did a Facebook Live video.

Hopefully most of our wheat will be planted this weekend while we have help. Hard for my spouse to do it all alone. And he should not be working alone. I have fears and lots of stress

Fun sunday tomorrow and then another cold front coming.

Bueno y menos que bueno

Ayer fui a ver a 2 amigos. Uno me dio un tratamiento de reiki mientras meditaba. Increíble. Tuve una lectura psíquica por el otro. Muy interesante. Demasiado personal para compartir pero me siento realmente bien después. ¡Y no lloré esta vez!

Hoy no comenzó bien. Perdí mi grupo sueco. Tenía un fuerte dolor de cabeza y simplemente me quedé en casa y en la cama. Mejoré tarde en la tarde.

La tarde fue bastante buena. Nico tomó una larga siesta en el sofá. Luego salió afuera. El sol estaba caliente, así que lo dejé fuera por un tiempo. Lo vi tirado en la hierba absorbiendo los rayos !!

Sobre la hora en que iba a traerlo, mi esposo me llamó y necesitaba un aventón. Entonces Nico y yo hicimos un agradable viaje al lado oeste de la ciudad. Realmente disfrutó de la equitación. ¡Bien, aprende que no todos los viajes en coche terminan en los veterinarios! Llegamos a casa y él tomó otra siesta.

Realmente frío anoche y mucho más frío esta noche. Bajo puede golpear 22F o -5.5C. Brrr. ¡Sin embargo, para dormir bien! No hay lluvia o nieve aquí sin embargo.

Good and less than good

Yesterday I went to see 2 friends. One gave me a reiki treatment while I meditated. Awesome. I had a psychic reading by the other. Very interesting. Too personal to share but I feel really good afterwards. And I did not cry this time! 

Today did not start good. Missed my Swedish group. Had a bad headache and just stayed home and in bed. Got better late in the afternoon.

The afternoon was pretty good. Nico took a long nap on the sofa. Then he went outside. The sun felt warm so I left him out for a while. I saw him laying in the grass soaking up the rays!!

About the time I was going to bring him in my spouse called and needed a ride. So Nico and I had a nice ride to the west side of town. He really enjoyed riding. Good he learns that not every car trip ends at the vets! We got home and he took another nap.

Really cold last night and much colder tonight. Low might hit 22F or -5.5C. Brrr. Makes for good sleeping though! No rain or snow here though.

Después de un descanso

Tomé un descanso de mi blogging. Tuvimos un gran festival en la ciudad y trabajamos en un stand durante 2 días. Principalmente dimos información sobre Coronado Heights y no debería haberme cansado, pero estaba agotado. Tengo dolor crónico y estoy cansado a menudo, solo por eso. Así que levantarse temprano y salir tarde para conciertos y cenas me hizo entrar. Fue muy divertido y vi mucha gente que no había visto en mucho tiempo.

Nuestro clima finalmente se está enfriando. Estoy cansado del clima cálido. De hecho, me he ido un día o dos sin aire acondicionado y sin calefacción. Increíble. Las noches son realmente frías. Me puse una chaqueta la otra noche cuando estaba afuera. Un gran frente frío se acerca. Tal vez incluso nieblas de nieve el viernes. ¡¡¡Eso espero!!! ¡Amo la nieve!

Tenga en cuenta que las aves de verano se están yendo, pero las aves de invierno están regresando. Realmente debo comenzar a alimentar a las aves de nuevo.

Después de nuestra última lluvia, tuve 3 pequeñas plantas de girasol floreciendo. Y hay algunas pequeñas flores amarillas que nunca vi florecer en nuestra sequía. Encontrado hace 2 días. Tomó algunas fotos.

No se hizo nada demasiado especial desde la última redacción. En su mayoría simplemente corriendo alrededor.

Comí un día y tuve un evento desagradable. Alguien que era mi mejor amigo pero dejó de estar conmigo a pesar de que la llamé y la invité a menudo. Tuvieron que pasar por donde nos sentamos. Ella me dio la mirada más desagradable cuando pasó. Cuando se fueron más tarde, ella trató de esconderse detrás de su esposo. No funcionó. Ella es mucho más grande que él. Muy hiriente y muy infantil de su parte. Un simple hola nunca ha matado a nadie que yo sepa. Pero me alegra saberlo. Ya no me preocuparé por ella. O su esposa muy enferma. El resto de su familia todavía me habla. Me alegro. Los amo y ellos también son familia. Triste.

 Todavía estoy en mi clase de sueco. Y amando cada minuto de eso. ¡Esta noche nos divertimos mucho! ¡¡Incluso podría estar aprendiendo un poco !! O mucho!

Mientras escribo esto, estoy escuchando música nyckelharpa. El nyckelharpa es un instrumento sueco muy antiguo que está ganando popularidad. Tener un amigo que lo juegue expertamente. Amo los sonidos. Reforzando mi sueco. Muy orgulloso de donde vengo Espero volver a Suecia una vez más. Talves el próximo año.

He tomado una gran decisión. Voy a comprar una cámara real. Mi hermano acaba de obtener uno que es increíble. Estoy recibiendo el siguiente. Él puede ayudarme a aprender qué hacer. Él tiene una lente que puedo usar para disparos macro. Y un trípode para usar. Estoy tan emocionada. Un amigo me debe dinero. Utilizaré ese dinero para comprarlo. Tal vez podamos tomarnos un día para viajar y tomar algunas fotos. ¡Divertido! Nunca seré tan bueno como él, pero divertido de probar.

Un buen amigo fue a México para llevar a su madre a casa. Se supone que debe traerme una bebida maravillosa de allí. Él tenía algunos que probé y es increíble. Él regresó hoy. Espero que cuando regrese en enero pueda viajar con él. ¡Guauu! Yo en México!

Tratará de blogge más a menudo ahora. Me lo perdi.

After a break

I took a break from my blogging. We had a big festival in town and worked in a booth for 2 days. We mostly gave out information about Coronado Heights and I should have not been tired but I was exhausted. I have chronic pain and so I am tired often, just from that. So being up early and out late for concerts and dinner did me in. It was great fun and I saw lots of people I had not seen for a long time.

Our weather is FINALLY turning cooler. I am tired of the hot weather. I have actually gone a day or two with no AC and no heat. Awesome. The nights are really chilly. I put a jacket on the other night when outside. A big cold front is approaching. Maybe even snow flurries on friday. I hope so!!! I love snow!

Notice that the summer birds are leaving but the winter birds are returning. I really must start bird feeding again. 

After our last rain, I had 3 tiny sunflower plants bloom. And there are some yellow small wildflowers I never saw bloom in our drought. Found some 2 days ago. Took some photos.

Not done anything too special since last writing. Mostly just running around.

Did eat one day and had an unpleasant event happen. Someone who was my best friend but stopped being with me even though I called and invited her out often. They had to walk by where we sat. She gave me the nastiest look as she walked by. When they left later, she tried to hide behind her husband. Did not work. She is much larger than he is. Very hurtful and very childish on her part. A simple hello has never killed anyone that I know of. But glad to know. I won’t worry about her anymore. Or her very ill spouse. The rest of her family still talks to me. I am glad. I love them and they are also family. Sad.

 I am still in my Swedish class. And loving every minute of it. Tonight we had so much fun!!! I might even be learning a little!! Or a lot!!!

As I am writing this I am listening to nyckelharpa music. The nyckelharpa is a very old Swedish instrument that is gaining in popularity. Have a friend who plays it expertly. Love the sounds. Reinforcing my Swedishness. Very proud of where I come from. I hope to return to Sweden one more time. Maybe next year. 

I have made a big decision. I am going to purchase a real camera. My brother just got one that is awesome. I am getting the next one down. He can help me learn what to do. He has a lens I can use for macro shots. And a tripod to use. I am so excited. A friend owes me money I will use that money to buy it with. Maybe we can take a day to travel and take some photos. Fun! I will never be a good as him but fun to try.

A good friend went to Mexico to take his mother home. He is supposed to bring me back a wonderful drink from there. He had some I tasted and it is awesome. He returned today. Hopefully when he returns in January I can travel with him. Wow! Me in Mexico!

Will try to blogg more often now. I missed it.

Ayer y hoy

Ayer salí de la casa. Conocí a mi hija N para almorzar en Jalisco. Tuvimos una buena conversación. Es bueno verla. Tipo de silencio en el restaurante. Algunos bromeando antes de irme.

Lo llegué al supermercado. Siempre demasiado adolorido cuando quería ir. ¡Tengo algunas cosas que quiero! Saludable --- no ¡¡Buen Si!!

El clima es frío por la noche, pero se ha calentado durante el día. Nico va a salir por la tarde. Le encantó y durmió una larga siesta en la casa.

Hoy tenía una lista de cosas que hacer. Primero Nico fue al veterinario para "campamento de verano". Me he ido todo el fin de semana y no es bueno dejarlo aquí para que lo ignoren. Y con un frente frío, no pudo salir a tiempo para hacer su trabajo. Quiero disfrutar mi fin de semana. No vuelvas a casa a una alfombra sucia.

Fui a una cita de pelo que pensé que era hoy, pero en realidad es la próxima semana. Por suerte, mi estilista me contrató para un champú y un estilo rápidos.

Fui a una tienda nueva en la ciudad y gasté demasiado. Pero estaba fuera de cosas. O tal vez quería cosas nuevas!

Quería comer en la ciudad esta noche pero no lo hice. Yo debería. Nadie vino a casa y era obvio que había comido en otro lugar. Como siempre.

Este fin de semana en mi ciudad es un gran festival que celebra a los suecos que se establecieron aquí. Voy a echar de menos la mayor parte ya que estoy trabajando en un stand los dos días. Con suerte puedo ver el desfile el sábado a menos que llueva. Tengo un boleto para la cena sueca y quiero un boleto para el concierto de jazz. Alégrate cuando sea domingo. Demasiado ocupado.
