The Plague, Day 139......

Slow day. Great weather. Lindsborg had a car show. JR went early and it was so pleasant. I am sure he got some awesome photos.

I picked up groceries at Walmart around 11am. Then drove through Arby's to get lunch. Funny thing. A lady was parked next to me at Walmart and as I left Arby's she was driving in to order take out! Great minds think alike!!

Talked to no one at home. Too quiet. 

Last night after giving JG his hypo I developed a pain in my upper arm. It frequently hurts but tonight it was one little deep pain about where you get a hypo? Was it sympathy pains for JG?

Nico has been odd. He never bothers me when we are napping. He woke me twice today. No real reason. We went out but had to beg him to potty. In the house I gave him treats and water. He never was happy. No idea why. Now that supper is over, he is better.

The Plague, Day 115.....

I had a good day! All but one stupid move. In town bought a medium Coke to take home for lunch. Set it on the porch while I carried in groceries from Walmart.  I had trouble getting my purse and in the process I knocked the Coke over. Lost all Coke and all ice. If that is the worst of today, no biggie.

Tonight my brother and I had supper at Jalisco. They were busy!!! Wow! I saw a few masks. More than usual. I am hopeful. One guy in my FB group is absolutely deadset against wearing a mask. To the point of making an ass of himself. He would have been pleased. I think in regards to him the word "deadset" may be apropos.

I had to wear my mask more than usual. People do not know that you wait to order by the front door desk, not back by where I sit. Duh.

When it slowed down, my best friend had time to visit and joke. Nice when we do not see each other too often.

A good friend who has been travelling came in to Jalisco's. We had a good visit. Glad she is home but soon she will move far away. I will miss her more than words can say. I am getting used to being alone most of the time.

While it was my daughter's birthday today, I hardly gave her a thought. And did not shed a tear.

We are now in a severe thunderstorm watch until 5am. Oh joy. Then tomorrow there is a chance for severe weather including 60-80mph winds and hail. Just more joy than I can handle. And on friday also.

Quarantine Day 100......

Wow. Been away from life for 100 days. Not one hug in over 100 days. And people need around 12 hugs a day to be healthy. No chance for me. None. I am starting to miss having my hair cut. I might have to invest in doing my own hair color. I should celebrate 100 days but sitting here alone who cares. I treated myself to Arby's. Livin' the high life. And no change in site. If EVERYONE would wear a mask that would help but not in this country. Selfish people.

I feel better today. But after sleeping all day yesterday I did not sleep last night. Always something.

I have received some disturbing stuff online. Far far right wing stuff. Why do people not check to see if that is something I agree with. One was sent to me personally. The other was a general post on FB. Sad that a relative has such beliefs. If I send something to someone I know what they believe. I would never ever do that to anyone. Just hateful.

Grocery shopping look!! Just sit in the car and they carry it out.

Quarantine Day 53

We had rain overnight and much cooler temperatures. I about froze during the night. When I got up this morning, it was 64 in the house. No wonder I was shivering. I do not think we got much rain. Did not check. More coming tonight. Nothing severe.

Today was grocery day. They were only out of one thing I needed. Well, not needed. Wanted. No problem.

Drove through Arby's for supper. Beef sandwich and an apple turnover. Better than me cooking.

Ever since Cinco de Mayo I have felt different. More at peace. No idea why although that was a wonderful day. Almost normal. Hope it lasts.

Having severe withdrawal symptoms. I am all caught up with my Murdoch Mysteries. Awful. Now to find another one I like. No luck yet.
