I think I know a friend with this name.  I always sat next to here when I took art classes.  Talented,

    Another quiet day.  No flu symptoms today.  Had knee pain overnight but ok after up.  Change of weather pains.

    Stayed warm overnight.  Somewhere around 38F.  Fell to around 25F today.  But the north wind is really bitter.  Kept the house warm though.  North tree line protects my house.  Not strong enough to tip my trash bins like the south wind was.  At least no animals got into my trash bags before I got them cleaned up.  No snow here like it was forecast.  No where near me.  I just drove to get the mail.  Yikes the wind was sure cold!!!  Should slipped on my gloves.

    Cinder & I took our daily afternoon nap.  She is special.  Kisse cuddles at other times.  She goes to bed when I do & cuddles next to me but no last night.  She was wild, racing all over the house & bedroom.  Weather???

    Family & friends are quiet today.  Must all be busy.  But makes me feel isolated.  But LL just texted.  Good to hear from her.  She had a Zoom meeting on genealogy at the Mill today.  Those are really good.  I have never taken one.  Know lots about my family.  I am addicted to genealogy!! 

    All the bulls here were up by their water tank,  they had been fed up there.  Saw 3-4 of them.  Too cold for the cows across my driveway to be roaming around or the llamas.  Staying close to their home.  I miss them!!

    Weather tonight is supposed to show where most of the snow will fall this week.  Looks like it is all over Kansas.  Snow, winds & the coldest air we have had this year.  Wednesday morning wil feel like -23F.  I like winter but maybe not so cold.  😰

002/2025 Fredag the 14th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Today's Name Day:  Valentin

    Well today did not go as I. planned.  Cancelled lunch & work.  I have dealt with flu symptoms off & on all week.  Nothing severe but not feeling good.  Not good enough to be out in public.  So middle of last night my stomach acted up.  I did not dare go anywhere.  And extra tired.  I slept extra late after writing LL iwth my bad news.

    Had an extra short nap today.  Probably slept too much this morning,  But Cinder & I relaxed together.

    Last night Kisse was curled close to me on the sofa.  Cinder climbed on to my chest.  And they both stayed.  I was scared they would fight but they both went to sleep.  Surprise.  Got one photo,

    Valentine's Day today.  Not celebrated in many years,  In 2016 Willie brought me long stemmed red roses.  He had no clue what they were but were expensive.  I knew for sure his mind was gone then.  Only time I ever got roses.  Sad memory.  And when he was OK he did not like to go on the 14th.  Too many people & restaurants too crowed.  So we went out on another night.  Now I am always home alone.

    Severe high winds today from the south.  Hate south winds as they blow through the house.  North winds are good since we have a strong tree line north of my house.

    Winter storm watch on monday & tuesday.  Then wednesday & thursday single digit temps & winds.  Another days.  Then temps warm up a bit.

    Nothing special to eat here.  Except my strawberry cake.  Too good for words.
