Today's Name Day:  Mona, Monika

Have a sweet friend in Sweden named Mona.  Sent her a happy name day message today. 💗

    No need to talk about today.  Had to cancell  supper thanks to my stupid blood sugar.  If I eat normally it goes too high.  If I try to eat less then it goes low.  Has to be a middle ground.  And this is all new to me.  Why???

    Nice weather today.  I have stayed in.  Need to go to the mail box.  Too depressed to care.  Want my life back.

    Heard from my other grandson CF, yesterday.  He has moved back here from another state.  I am excited I can see him again.  His sister drove down to pick him up.  Good for her.

    I slept good & had a good nap until I woke up.  Every day it is the same.

    No communication to day except from my email lady.  Enjoy her notes.

    I never think I look like Mom.  JR says I look just like her. Weeeellll.  Last night I got up to go to the bathroom.  Walked in the bathroom & looked up to the mirror.  I thought Mom was in the mirror, but it was just me.  Wow.  I guess I do look like her!!  Part of it was my hair is more like hers.  Should have had my phone to snap a photo!

05/2025 Lördag the3rd - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Today's Name Day:  Jane, John

I have known many Janes. Plus John was my best friend for years until he passed.  Sure miss him.

    Today was so-so for a while.  But a list of things upset me this afternoon ---- BS, texting someone special who never read it or answered, being ignored by others, missing Nico, missing Willie, missing friends who are not here.  No need to write about it here or on FB.  My feelings only,

    The weather was ok.  Highs in the 70s.  Cool overnite,  Rain still forecast midweek.

    Trying something new with eating.  No more soda.  Ice water or tea.  I had mac & cheese.  One serving was not enough carbs so I had two.  Small servings.  See how bad that is.  No dessert.  Nothing fun.  Too upset to eat more anyway,

    Texted 2 people today,  One that is sick & I tried the best I could to encourage him,  The other one a nice email.

    No idea how Millfest went today.  Photos were good.  I wrote to LL but no answer & they are on they way to an airport now.  Again, I tried to be supportive.  Not sure that is enough for this weekend.

04/2025 Tisdag the 15th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Today's Name Day:  Oliver, Olivia

    Better sort of kind of day.  Lifted things far too heavy & moved things far too heavy.  I pay today.  Only my problem.  I cancelled my day to rest.  Too much pain.

    Another cooler day.  Ends tomorrow.  Winds returning.  Thankful the winds stayed low so all my boxes are gone.  Have a new plan for boxes in mind.  See if it works.

    Not sure what to wear to work.  Probably need to bring a sweater as the basement is cold to me.  See if there is a place for me to stash a sweater so I can leave it there.  My chair I share with another worker.  He works on tuesday & thursday.  We share the chair, computer, & scanner.  I work on wednesday & friday.

    Communication is sort of quiet today.  Except for my Lindsborg Now group.  As soon as I laid down for a nap someone posted a political post.  It was not bad just not allowed.  But the comments were rude & even attacked me.  I can be any type of political person I want in my private life but I still got attacked.  One time I accidently posted something politcal on my group,  Long time ago.  I apologised for posting in the wrong group.  Apparently not all forgot or forgave me.  Thank goodness my partner caught them & they were deleted & there were people banned from the group.  No room for negative or hateful members.

    Supper time plus I have mail to check & bring in. Photos are mostly Easter.

04/2025 Måndag the 14th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

Today's Name Day:  Tiburtius

    Better day.  Took a pill at bedtime so I slept well.  Gets old laying awake trying to sleep.  Rested in preparation of what I had planned later in the day.  Cinder never keft me during our nap.

    Only 2 texts & 2 emails today.  I had stuff to share with my email friend so we chatted a bit.  Plus they were near to the earthquake in California.  They took steps to be safe.  And they are.  I am relieved.  They had nothing,

    Almost dark out & I can see the llamas out my window.  Plus cattle.  Too dark for a photo.

    Trash in the house is outside now.  All boxes are moved.  Picking up the trash bins were a major pain so now I have major pains just sitting or walking.  Only my problem.  The bins used to get picked up for me but those days are over.   No one volunteered or just did it for me.  I planned well.  Rested/napped prior to working.  Glad I have tomorrow to recover from heavy lifting.  Seems no one cares if I lift heavy stuff anymore.

    Surprise.  My blood sugar has behaved perfectly today.  Rather nice for a change. See my doc within a week & a half.

    Weather better today.  Cooler.  But high winds are returning.  Small chances for rain on Easter.  Pretty sure it will bypass us.  Not the wind though.  Only the rain will miss. us.
