Today's Name Day:  Martin, Martina

There has been a Martin or two who lived here in town.

    Another not so good day.  Why???   I woke up with a really bad headache.  And it made me nauseous too.  I took pain pills but it took forever for them to work.  I mostly skipped lunch.  Ate one bite of food.  Then Cinder & I napped.  I ate supper ok.  Very slight headache.  Tomorrow is my historical group.  Wish I could stay home.  But it is our Christmas dinner.  I bring the dishes.

    Did not talk to many.  One email & a few texts from MM

    Got down to 20F last night.  Very little wind here.  I felt a little chilly.  Same today.  Much warmer tomorrow.  And the rest of the week.  At least they have mostly removed the 80F day or two in the west.  Far too warm. They have even mentioned snow a time or two.  Could be fun!!

    Some leftover pain from trash yesterday.  Many people do not understand that every major action takes time to heal from.  Many don't understand or want to know.  Somedays I truly feel all alone.

07/2025 - Jueves the 10th - JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  André, Andrea

Have known one Andrea from high school.  Older than me.

    Staying home today.  Cancelled all plans except running an errand for MM.  Drove around town a bit to take photos of flowers.  Felt ok doing that.  Could not stay to visit with MM but I am physically not up to it.  There were workmen in his house.

    The weather truly sucks today. The breeze does not help at all. Stopped at the cemetery on the way home.  Worry about Willie's grave.  Got there & my car said it was 100F.  Ick!!!  Stayed at that temp all they way home.  Now there is a line of storms in the SW Kansas with some high winds.  Wonder if they will come here?

The weekend will be cooler.  Great.

    Had some emails today.  That is it.  Photos are a mix of things.

The old airport in Denver Colorado where planes took off & landed over the interstate.  What a thrill if I to see it live!!  Today the airport is far out of town.

07 february, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Had a quiet day with little sleep.  But feel ok.  I had an early chiropractor app't.  My pain has been under control this last weekend.  My SoftWave treatment went well.  Knee had fewer pain spots.  But my back made up for it.    

    After my appointment I went to Dairy Queen for lunch.  It is just down the street.  I could barely eat my meal.  Only barely half of fries & two thirds of my burger.  Dessert was better.  Felt sort of awful.

    I took my new shot  for weight loss yesterday.  Think it is working today.  No appetite.  At suppertime I wanted nothing to eat.  I did but could not eat all I had fixed.  Good?  Bad?  I was warned this would happen.

    I took a nice nap this afternoon.  I was really tired & fatigued.  I got a new med to help me sleep.  See if it works.  I work tomorrow but if I am as nauseated tomorrow I may cancel the entire day.  Work & Jalisco's.  What next???

    JS & SM video chatted live with me last night.  Great to see & hear them.  JS is a new man.  What a miracle getting away from stress will do.  He is really happy.  Makes me happy.  And seeing them makes me feel less alone.  JS texted me today & sent photos.

    Our low was 28F last night.  Better for sleep.  High today was cooler at 53F.  Rain starts wednesday evening & through thursday.  Maybe some snow mixed in.  Time will tell.

18 December, 2022 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Quiet day.  Sort of slept but Nico got me up too often.  And Kissekatt was weird last night.  She crept all around the house.  Or she curled up in my bedroom doorway.  Odd.  This morning she was in her normal place.

    JR & I ate at Jalisco's.  They were quiet for a while & then got sort of busy.

    Took a long nap at home.  I needed it.  But I woke up all nauseated.  No idea why.  I got sick last night after eating supper so maybe part of that.  Who knows.  I would be shocked if something went good for me!

    Hard to pick something for supper that would not bother my stomach.  So far ok  I did cancel a lunch for tomorrow  just in case.  But I forgot to give me brother something at lunch.  So late tomorrow we will go to town & he can run into the grocery store for me.  If I order they always miss things.  JR can call me if something is missing to see what I want to do.

    I just watched the 1938 version of A Christmas Carol.  It was good.  All black & white.  Now I am watching The Grinch.

    Our weather gets scary cold on thursday & friday.  Highs around 1F.  I will stay home for sure.  Too cold to get out.  I have a Thursday hair appointment but think I will cancel.  Cancel now.  Give him time to fill it up.  I can wash my hair here.
