10/2026 - Friday the 16th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Finn

Only Finn I know is a character in one of my soap operas

Today was an ok day. I slept so-so. Got up early to go to LBK on an errand,

Daisy was really lazy over night. She usually gets up when I get up. She follows me wherever I go but not last night. This morning she starting looking sickly. She would walk from her bed to the window to lay in the sun. I got worried. I finally called the vet but he did not seem concerned. Said they had no room for another cat tonight. They were full. I felt guilty for not calling earlier.

Before my supper Kisse made Daisy jump out of her bed & out in the hall. Then she made it to the living room & acted more normal. I think she pottied. I gave her a treat. Think she ate it. She is still in the living room. She followed me to our bedroom. Forgot my watch in there. She then followed me back to the sofa. I am feeling better. Cinder is near by & no clue where Kisse is.

I need to have my car worked on. Had a small fender bender so I went to our local body shop. Such nice guys. I know them so they were really nice & friendly. Set an appointment for in about 2 weeks. I will need a ride to leave me car there. And a ride home. I hope KN is free. With mostly no family & no friends life is difficult. The owner said the other partner could drive me home if necessary. Very nice of him. Nice to know there are nice people in the world.

I got a nice nap. Then I felt better. And with Daisy up I am feeling much better. A quien le importa.

Will stay home tomorrow for Daisy.

Super cold to hit in the morning. Freezing for sure, so they say. Of course they said we would get rain also. HA!

Have Everybody Loves Raymond on & they are in Italy. Awesome. I no longer know what it is like to travel. Will never happen again for me. Makes me so sad.

8/2026 - Sunday the 23nd - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Signe, Signhild

When I worked at the Red Barn & took a class, I always tried to sit by my boss's daughter. Name was Signe & she was a great artist. Always helped me.

Today could have been better. I had a hellacious headache all night. I changed positions, moved my pillow, drank some water. Nothing helped. In the morning I took pain pills hoping I could eat supper out. But the pills did not help. Finally tonight I am better.

Mail came late tonight. It was awesome. Soo cool & with Daisy. Nice cool breeze. Wish it would last for weeks on end.

My cousin called this evening. Good to hear from her. We talked for almost 2 hours. I wish we could see each other. But I no longer can travel without help. But there is no one. No one has time for me.

My cousin who died recently I miss a lot. He and his partner are great. They are planning a service for him. I hoped there would be a miraclel & I could find someone to drive me to it. But there is no one. I will miss. Like usual.

My mail had some cat food in it. Daisy was dying for food. I fed her first. Cinder & Kisse were too. I fed them in the living room. Cinder has disappeared. Kisse is sleeping by the tv.

Today is a sad day. My grandmother that I called Mimi died in Denver after a car wreck. I was 3 then. I have needed her my entire life. Photos later.

Off tomorrow. And tuesday. Maybe eat out tomorrow if I feel good. With RA one never knows.
