Today's Name Day:  Carola , Karolina

There is an awesome singer in Sweden named Carola.  I love her singing.  Had a relative named Carolina.

    Today was a good day.  I slept very good.  I made changes in my bedroom & my cats did not like it.  New sheet & new blankets.  And I dared to pile things on their sleeping areas!!!  But they are over it today.  Picky cats.  I had time to cuddle my outside baby.  Decided to name her Daisy.

    Work was fun.  There is a page that comes up with the scanner.  It kept loading with photos I scanned.  Did not want that.  I had tried to delete the scans but they always came back. LL selected all of the pictures & "cut" them all instead of deleting.  That made a difference.  Then she scanned a photo that showed up on the scanner page.  She "cut" it & copied it.  And added to the page I needed it on.  And it worked fine.  Fast work.  Have to learn to slow down.

    Supper was at Jalisco's.  JS had told me to try adding an egg to rice there.  So I had carnitas, rice, & an egg,  Best meal ever!  In fact just the rice & egg is great.  Can try that.  No more. cola  Switched to ice water with 3 slices of lemon.  Perfect.

    When I drove home the clouds in the west looked like rain clouds.  

stormy ones.  But JR said no rain until 3am.  He was wrong.  Started raining here about an hour ago.  No wind or warnings, just rain.  Hope it dumps here.

    I noticed on the way home the wheat is really turning.  Not good.  Too early.

    Tomorrow had lunch planned with my usual thursday group.  And I had an appointment to get my car worked on afterwards.  Had to cancel lunch as my car appointment got changed.  Be an easier day.

    Saw a friend at Dollar General.  I never get to see him.  He works every saturday in a very fancy place in Assaria.  So I asked if he could find me table off by itself.  I do not know anyone who eats there.  Or if I do they are with a group.  He said he would find me a table & take care of me.  Works for me.  Starve all day & have steak!!!

    Hurting a bit tonight due to the changing weather.  But nothing as bad as all last weekend.  Yet.

    Have not decorated graves.  Poor planning on my part.  Will try for sunday.

    Been dealing with a crisis on Lindsborg Now.  Cannot have that.  Someone is upset & scared.  Banned some one & told the friend of the other one if continues to call the police. Done blogging.  Tired.  Flower photos are from the Methodist Church today.

13 june, 2022 Wandering

    I probably should not blog but I have calmed down by now.  I noticed a lot of water in my hallway by my back door.  And no rain.  There were clothes waiting to be washed in the corner.  They hid where the water was coming from.  My water heater is in the closet of the bedroom I on use for clothes storage.  I got up in the middle of the night & waded into the closet.  Water was coming out of a faucet low down on the tank.  I managed to shut it off.  Later there was no more running water in the hall.

    I was so upset I called my brother.  Glad we both stay up late.  I almost cried but I was too angry to do anything.  I got no sleep at all last night.  I called my plumbing guy & he pretty much told me he is not coming out for any reason.  I understand he getting close to retiring but if he had just came to disconnect the electricity & the water.  Nope.  I will find someone else.  I plan on a tankless heater next.  I do not care where they put it.  And I hope they can add freon to my AC.  It is not cool in here.  I assume my usual guy has forgotten all about me.  That will go both ways.

    I have a hair app't tomorrow that I will NOT miss.  I am desperate.   I will find a plumber  tomorrow morning.

    Another horrible day.  Our low was 81F.  That is not cool at all.  I was miserable trying to sleep. Our high today is now almost 100F.  Humidity outside was less but not in my house.  The fur kids have all slept.  Poor Cinder was under the car.  She gets lots of breeze there & shade.

    My nephew was up early today & planting milo.  We never planted that.  I like how it looks.  I sat out with Nico & he drove in the yard.  Nice to have a visit from someone.
