Today's Name Day: Hubert, Hugo
Had a great uncle Hugo, my grandfather's brother. A classmate had a brother Hubert.
Today was a slow day. Only an email or two. Few texts. Even MM has been quiet. I am sure the holiday was hard on him without his boys.
Cinder ignored me all night until around 5am. No idea where she slept at. Then we were buddies after that.
I got a photo of cattle being loaded. I see the gate to one pasture is closed. I assume there are cattle in there, roaming around.
Cinder & I took a short nap. Then I heard some heavy equipment driving outside & woke up. Gave up napping. Semi with cattle???
Busy day tomorrow. Voting & eye doctor appointment. Then back to work. LL home last night & we had a short chat. Will be fun to see her again!!
No help in my having no glucose sensors. Told my PA to just ignore me until my appointment in 3 weeks. I will make do with out sensors. I have a busy month. Tired of asking for help & getting none.
Watching the news from the BBC. Sure beats having to hear & see our sick news. Theirs is much better. Calmer. There was a train wreck & a stabbing causing it. Here people would have been balistic. Brits are calmer. Should completely change over to them.
I saw we got down to 30F last night. Warmer tomorrow. The weathermen are so excited a town or two is far west Kansas might get close to 80F. I am not excited. The warmer it gets here the worse the flies are trying to get in the house. Luckily I had bug spray near the front door. It was full of huge black flies. All dead now. And by sunday will be really cold here. Great! Kill all the bugs. Or send them into hiding. I hope.
