12/2025 - Martes the 30th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day:  Set, Kelsey, Mason

My neighbour's daughter is Kelsey.  Have known a Mason.

    

    Slept good last night.  I watch my blood sugar so it does not go too low.  Cinder stays close as does Kisse.  Like having them close to me.

    Got cold over night but warm today.  I wore my coat tonight but did not need it.  One never knows.

    I braved the back bathroom to shampoo my hair.  Was warm & water was ok.  I got a hold of my hair stylist & his first opening is January 22.  Hard to believe but maybe he is punishing me for cancelling when I did not feel well.  Sorry.  My first to do thing is take care of me.  Tough.  At that appointment will find a day to color my hair.  Then back to normal.

    I had planned to work tomorrow but I have been invited out to lunch & coffee/cake in the afternoon.  Cancelled work for tomorrow.  Tired of watching every one else have fun times with friends.  So I an going to also.  Will work on friday.  And lunch with LL.  Seeing MM tomorrow at noon also.

    The mailman crammed my mailbox full of small packages.  What a mess.  They are in to open in a minute.

    My phone is a total mess.  I have deleted tons of photos & programs.  Still is not working right.  Next week I will see what Verizon has to say.  If they have any way to help me.  Would hate to drop them.  JR looked on his service to see what kind of phones they are selling.  None of them have hardly any storage.  What the hell???  Makes no sense.  Nothing I do helps.

    TV is boring tonight.  Nothing to watch.

    I have decided to pull away from things & people.  I got far to involved in Christmas.  No more.  A couple of happy happy but not a dozen every day.  I no longer care how many I get.  No wonder I felt awful most of the time.  I want the holidays over & my life back.

    JR & I ate supper at Jalisco's.  They were moderately busy.  I knew almost no one.  My cousin & her husband come in often.  She rarely if ever says hi or smiles at me.  He husband almost always smiles, or waves, or says hi.  How I love family.

    Think I can leave the water not dripping tonight.  Gets expensive.  But I love when I get a glass of water it is very cold.  No basement so the pipes get cold.  In summer the water sucks.  Luke warm.  Ick,

    Photos are the usual.  Several more Christmas lights.  There was one house I really wanted a photo of.  Got it tonight.

08/2025 - Jueves the 21st - JOURNEY

I bought the post card.  It had the owner's name & the address.  So wanted to see if the house was still here.  It is.  Very cool.

Today's Name Day:  Jon, Jonna

I am friends now with a Johnita, a lady.  I was in high schooll with a Johhnie.  A girl..  Have know many Jon's or John's.

    Had a pretty good day!!  Slept good with a short nap.  Cinder slept with me in my nap.  Love her snuggles & purring.  😸

    Had an eye dr, appointment.  Not with the dr.  Just a test. Was not in the mood so I canceled.  No big deal.

    Met my friend RG for supper at the Crown & Rye.  They were really busy.  Good to see.  Even saw a few people I know.

    RG walked by Jalsico's on the way for supper.  No one in there.  The carpet is still there but all tables & chairs are gone.  Who knows where.  Storage unit?  Sold?  Hmmmm.  We will not plan on eating there next thursday.  Going somewhere else.  

    Weather is ok today.  High around 91 but low humidity.  Really cold autumn like weather headed our way.  My friend CW is as excited as I am.  My friends who live in California have super hot weather.  Las Vegas will be 109F tomorrow.  I could live with that.  Just never leave the casino.  No problem.  Been there in the heat.

    When I got home both cats came running to greet me.  Sweet.  Either glad to see me or into some thing they knew was a no no

Great name!!!  Have a cousin Sara in Denver.  I told her today is her name day!!!

    Had a good day today.  I promise not to have a melt down in my blog today.  I apologise for yesterday.  Responded to having all my tender feelings poked.

    Slept good until around 6am.  I was up briefly  & then could not get back to sleep.  But the kits made it interesting.  They do not play together with each other. Ever. As I am trying to go back to sleep suddenly the cats come chasing each other at a high rate of speed into my bedroom.  Sat for around 10 seconds,   Then they ran back to the living room super fast.  In a couple of minutes here they came again.  Running super fast into my bedroom.  Then they left a bit slower.  I was almost scared to see what the living room looked like.  All was ok.  Except the tv would not turn on.  Kisse sometimes steps on the power cord & turns it off.  I fixed it tonight after work.

    Worked at the Old Mill.  Poor LL was there alone.  Whenever someone came in she would run upstairs to take care of them.  She came down once & said a group of 20 just came in.  She moved upstairs then & stayed there.  I got lonely.

    Working on a group of photos that are boring.  Not enjoying them. But today I had a photo of 6 men who I either knew or figured out who they are.  Five of them had the first name of Ken.  I assume the one unknown man is also a Ken.  Will find out next week.  That was fun.

    Before supper I drove to the Swensson Park to see some flowers that I hoped were blooming.  They were & I took many photos.  Will share tonight,

    Then JR & I ate at Jalisco's.  MA stayed home today,  Good he got some time off.  I like the married couple who work there.  And their son who helps out in fluid Spanish & fluid English.  Very nice boy.  The husband talked to me & he even told me I looked good tonight.  Wow.  That was a surprise.  I sometimes never hear a nice compliment.  I enjoyed it.  Dessert was snow cones.  It will close when school starts. 

    Going home it looked like rain cloud to the west.  But totally missed us.  Of course.  The high today was a miserable 99F.  My friends in Sweden are having the same temps there like here.  They rarely see 85F.  We are all miserable.

    Got home & cleared a path to my tv plug in.  The tv was a total mess.  Took me a while to figure it out.  Then I got my jammies on.  Trying to feel comfy.  Trying.

    Watching Rachel Maddow & Nicolle Wallace on MSNBC.  I really like Nicolle.  Must watch her too.  Very great.  I enjoyed them talking to each other.

These 2 photos are art done by Eric Abraham.  Super artist & great guy.  He passed away several years ago.  Miss him.

I ordered this tiny vase & a tiny bouquet for it.  It is in the Old Mill for me when I work.  Nice to have something pretty on my desk.

Next 2 photos have to do with my meltdown yesterday.  Not fun feelings.
