When I worked at the White Cross nursing home the owers' last name was Adrian.

    

    Not a good day.  Fell asleep early in bed. Slept nice for a couple of hours.  Then I woke up & that was that.  No more sleep.  Not even in the morning.  Combine no sleep with the increasing pain from my RA was not good.  I did not work today.

    I had hoped to fill better & go out for supper but when I woke up after my nap I just could not get up out of bed.  Slept longer & cancelled supper.  I hate to cancelle work because I like being there but I am learning there is  no one else to take care of me.  Or even care.  Found that out today.  Ignored by everyone except JL.  No one from work even texted me.  I was terrified they were mad at me but I got a nice text this evening.  Must have been a busy day.

    I usually eat out with 3 friends every thursday but tomorrow is cancelled.  No idea why.  I am relieved with that decision.

    With the stormy weather in Kansas last night I got nary a drop of anything,  Coming weather is fog thursday morning.  Storms forming in Oklahoma moving into Kansas in the evening through Friday morning,  Then another band of severe weather starts in Kansas friday night into Saturday morning,  I am in this one also.  Wonder if I get a drop or two.  Then next week around tuesday more storms.  Area is not set yet.

    ​I made a comment on a my fave weatherman ---- Ross Janseen's post.  I complained how the rain always misses my farm near Falun.  And he even answered me asking me how he can help!  If only he could control the weather.  I thanked him & complimented him & his dog.  Just a kind & fun moment.

    I looked out my front door & my llamas were in the pasture again.  Be ready tomorrow about the same time.

    I signed up for Netflix again.  My fave guy on SNL has a special on there.  Want to see.  Found a movie about Pricilla Presley, two about Marilyn Monroe, things from a fave comedian, & several movies that look good.  There are some foreign shows but not what I want.  I prefer British or Swedish.  And clever, not bloody.

    Today is a day of miracles!  In the middle of the night, around 4am I think, I woke up to a thunderstorm.  I forgot to see how much rain we got.  Too dark now.  How refreshing to wake up to lightning and thunder with the window covered in rain.  Wish it would happen more often.

    Today was awful weather.  It did get in the 70s but the 40 mph winds were deadly.  Hard to drive.  Pushed to one side of the road and then to the other.  The house rattled all night and day.  Wind is going down and temps are falling and maybe rain tomorrow.  

    The second miracle is when I got home from being out of town, I walked in the house and it was warm.  WARM!!!  And I heard the furnace on.  Hot air coming out of the vents.  I have no idea why but I am truly thankful.  I wonder if the part whatever it is had old dirt or lint or something that prevented it from firing the furnace on.  JR told me to not touch a thing.  Just leave it as is.  Trust me, I will touch nothing.  Feels awesome to be warm.  And I had already planned to sleep on the sofa.  Nope, a warm bed is better.

    JR has a really old phone old cellphone.  He is not addicted as I am!!  He got a notice from his phone company that they would give him a new phone that was at least 4G.  So today we drove to McPherson to get his new phone.  Looks really good.  Took a lot longer than getting my iPhone but that was no problem.  It is working just fine.  And will take much better photos than his old one.  He mostly takes very professional photos with a wonderful camera.  I too could do that but I am mostly clueless.  I need to have him show me things and as he does TAKE NOTES.  

    After we got his phone we had to eat.  Decided on the Crown and Rye in Lindsborg.  We should support it more often but Jalisco's get our business most of the time.  Good to be back at the Crown.  They had 3 large groups in there.  He got Swedish Meatballs over noodles.  Not the Swedish way of having them with potatoes and lingonberries.  When I have that I always ask for lingon.  I had shrimp on skewers and french fries.  They have the best fries I have had anywhere.  My stomach was mostly ok but the butter on the shrimp bothered a little.

These are from a past Midsommarsdag in Lindsborg.  The young man facing me is my cousin.  I cannot tell you how many photos I took to get just this one.  It is perfect.

The first one is just a photo I took with no intentions.  He is nowhere near the pole but looks like his foot is on it.  I could never have gotten this if I had tried.
