Today's Name Day:  Sven

    Had a great day!!  Lunch with LL at the White Peacock.  Then working at the Old Mill..  I had a pile of photos I finished.  I had new photos to sort.  Part of it is a huge pile of the tiniest of photos.  I hate those.

    MA gave me a photo they found when remodeling.  Someone dropped it down in the wall.  Really bad condition.  I ran it through an app I have that can fix bad photos.  Great photos when cleaned up.  No one knows any names yet.  One of my friends actually knows how to get to the school the are from here  Now I need to take a drive to see it,

    There was a Christmas decoration that our director found.  No one liked it.  Did not fit in to the Mill decor, but I thought it was cute.  I got it as a gift..  The only Christmas gift I will get.  Even as a child I never got a true Christmas or birthday gifts,  Anything I got for Christmas always said "and happy birthday too."  I still get nada for Christmas.  Only person who remembered me was JS.  Now he lives too far away,  His spouse is far more important than me.  Way it should be.  I might buy me a small gift for the holiday since there is no one else.

    I am still being ignored.  Only JL & CW text with me.  All others ignore me.  What have I done?,

    Supper was carnitas at Jalisco's.  They are sooo good,  No dessert.

    Where I plug in all my computer stuff died tonight.  I was changing it all but not late at night with a low sugar.  What a mess!!! All is ok now.

Both cats in bed together.  Rare.

05/2025 Torsdag the 29th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Rain for a couple of days.  I got 0.88".  Nice.

Today's Name Day:  Jeanette, Yvonne
 I have a good friend Jeanette, an aunt Jeanette, knew a Yvonne & another one who went by Vonnie.

    Today was a great day.  Did not sleep well, but survived.  Less pain which is good.

    I had lunch with 3 friends at the Öl Stuga.  I was the first one there.  MM was cooking.  ZR was the waiter.  He asked what I wanted to drink.  I told him a coke & if a bit of rum happened to be added to it I would like it.  Nice to have a rum & coke for lunch.  No one even questioned why I had a glass glass instead of a paper glass.  I am entitled to a nice cocktail when I want to enjoy one.

    The one friend's husband has a printer that can print plastic things.  Today we each got a little lizard like thing.  So cute!!  Here is mine.  He is really tiny!!

    After visiting I drove home for a nice nap.  I needed one.  At the end of my nap I had long phone call with KN.  I still own a bit of pasture that had a pond on it.  The pond has gone dry so KN  wants to drill a water well.  I offered to pay but he said he would take it out of my pasture rent payment.

    When I got home after lunch there was a large group of cattle close to my driveway.  The llamas were with them.  When they spotted my car, their heads jerked erect, & they ran to see me!!  How cool.  One was close enough to the fence his head was almost was in my car.  Very cool.  They get sheared on  sunday so they will look different.  Nice that. they know my car!  And me!!

    Supper was with JR & MM at Jalisco's.  MM had just got done working & the kids are in Wichita.  Then he went home to cuddle with Gracie, my grandpuppy.  She had been alone all day.

    JR & I had snowcones for dessert.  Too good for words.  I hate not to give the business to Jalisco's but I am sorry!  MA knows.

    My back started hurting during supper.  Still hurts.  I tried some pain killing cream but not much help.

    Photos are some flowers & some that I have edited.  New app.  I had an app that did the same but it quit working.  This one is made by the same people but works.

29 july, 2022 Wandering

    I had a quiet day.  Nothing special here at home.  Slept well until early morning when I developed severe right hip pain.  Why??  It got better but when I got to Jalisco's it hurt again.  Then went away.  😲

    Nico was actually good today.  I am grateful after yesterday.  Grrrr.

    I watched a huge area of thunderstorms headed our way all night.  What a fool I am!  Never got close & nary a drop of rain.  It did rain where it was desperately needed though.  When they said this rainy period was coming they had us in the 3-5" area of rain by the weekend's end.  Now we are in the half inch area, if we are lucky.  I knew it was too good to be true.  I would be happy if it stayed cool with a nice breeze to blow all the bugs away.  Far away.

    JR, PM, & I met for supper at Jalisco's.  They were busy early.  Probably because there is a play in the park & people were eating before going to find a seat.

    In the middle of our time in there I saw MA & JS gather to talk.  And exchange orders.  A gentleman came in for a takeout order & paid for several tables of people eating.  What a wonderful thing to do!  Very cool!!  Made my day!!!  I would love to do that.  What a great feeling it would be.

    Before leaving I saw 3 ladies eating together.  One I see on FB daily but rarely in person.  The second one I know.  The third one I took spanish from.  All nice.  What lucky ladies.  They were talking & laughing enjoying each other.  Be so great to have some lady friends to see weekly doing things.  There are many little groups of ladies in town but I am not nor have I ever been part of any of them.  But not my place in life.  I am turning more & more into a hermit as time goes on.

    It is interesting to see who actually reads my blog.  There are a couple of people who always like my photos.  But if I had written I had my leg cut off (joke) they would not know to make a comment.  Interesting.  But people who do not live here maybe only look at my photos too.  And I write my blog for me.  It does me good.  And helps me to think only in the positive --- most of the time.

    Nico thinks it is cookie time.  Ha.  Not until my blog is written.  And maybe my spanish lesson done.
