Today's Name Day:  Jessika , Esaias

I have known a Jessika or two.  And I know an Isaiah who is a great guy & a hoot!!!

    Today was an interesting day.  I had a doctor's appointment.  Lab went good in the morning.  But.  My appointment.  In my mind it was at 2pm.  On my calendar it said 1pm.  I got there to be told it was really at 3pm.  Lordy!!!  I did not want to drive back home so I just found a chair.  Not too bad a rest. Talked with several nice people.

    My appointment was fine.  I came home & rested.  Did not sleep.  Did not gather trash.  Did not have that in me.  Just done for the day.  When I left Daisy followed me to the car.  No bueno.  She finally go the idea I did not want her there.  She sat & watched me leave.  I need a cooler day to sit outside with her.

    Just got in my sleeping outfit.  And noticed it is on inside out.  The weirdness  continues!!  Will fix when I go to bed.  Home tomorrow.

    JS called me this afternoon.  Told him I could not talk since I was in the hospital.  He almost wrecked his car until I explained all was fine.  Told him to call tomorrow.  He calls when he gets off work & we talke while he drives somewhere to shop.  One of the few who actually think of me.

    Watched the US at FIFA today.  They played an awful game with lots of errors.  Score was 4-1.  So sad.

    Computer trouble tonight.  Almost could not do my blog.  But here I am. Not all my photos made it.  I added some on here.

    Tired of heat.  It is awful.  But the hospital was freezing.  Where I work in freezing.  Long sleeves are a blessing.  Not going to the car though!!

    Without  Colbert night time tv sucks.  Although there one will be doing new shows with guest hosts.  Might be ok.  First guest host on Kimmel. Do. not care for her.  Gonna be a long summer.

Sweater Weather --- So Much Better!

Today's Name Day:  Irma, Irmelin

Irma is a special day to me.  Was a sweet lady friends with my in-laws.

    What a busy day!!  I am exhausted & hurting everywhere!!!

    Day started with lab work.  I hate hospitals & hate doctor's appointments.  Lab was ok.  Had a longer wait than usual.  Then back home for lunch & fixing my face.

    Saw my doctor at 2pm.  I was sooo worried about my labs but it was mostly ok.  Even my A1C was good. And my weight also.

    Done with my doctor, I took off to Hutchinson to pick up meds.  Good trip.

    On they way home I stopped at Jalisco's & bought 2 burritos.  Great supper.

    I just now took a short nap.  I was just wiped out.  I feel better now.  But the house is cold now.  Heat on for a while.

    Hate the weather.  Talking about more high winds every other day & no chance of rain.  There will be rain north, east, & south of us but not here.  Maybe a chance for rain in mid to late April.  Not holding my breath!!  And forecasting weather in the 80s.  Usch!!!

Henbit is always purple but several summers ago I had a couple of plants in my yard that were white.  I took many photos as they are rare.

National Rice Pudding Day

I remember my step-grandmother made the best rice pudding.  Oh, for just one more serving of hers..........

Today's Name Day: Roland

    Was a great day but I sure got tired.  I started early.  Went to the Lindsborg Hospital to have blood drawn for fasting lab.

    Lunch was at the White Peacock.  They were super busy.  I had my fave meal called the Dala ----- ham, cheese, lingonberries, mayo in a bun & heated.  Tasty.  Only knew one person there ---- my fave artist.  He is cool.  We had time to talk a little politics & we both had big smiles!!!  Finally!!

    Then work day at the Old Mill.  I found no special photo to share with others.  There is one possible one but not until next week.  It is on hold until I am sure who it is.  Still lots of photos in this folder to go through.  Found photos of a niece's daughter when she was little.  And another lady who is a cousin,.  Did not have a lot of time to visit with LL at work but we sat outside for a bit to chat.  That was nice,

    Supper & dessert was at the Mexican restaurant.  Love my mexican friends.  They are always so nice to me.  

    The weather is heaven on earth.  The low last night was 56F.  Awesome.  The high today was 67F.  Double heaven!!  Of course by the end of next week the 90s return.  😱  Dang.

    I took a short nap when I got home.  Cinder had been out all day & there were sprinkles.  Plus KN was here all afternoon tearing out an old fense & trees.  Getting ready to put in a new fence.  I can just hear Willie saying "what a waste!"   He did not overdue improvements.  If the cows stayed in no need to fix.  Just makes me smile.  I can hear him!!  Sorry Willie!!!

National Tax Day 

Today's Name Day: Oliver, Olivia

    Considering all things, I had a good day!  Got up really early to head to Lindsborg Hospital to have blood drawn for lab work.  Both cats were asleep somewhere & never heard me leave.  I slept poorly last night.  Rushed home to catch a couple hours of sleep before lunch.  Cinder joined me on the sofa.

    While I ate Cinder curled up on a chair.  And stayed there while I went back to the hospital to see my doctor.

    I told my doctor I had had that awful flu that went around.  And his first comment was "lasted a long time, didn't it?"  Boy did it!!  It took me over a month to recover.  I told him my lab results might not be good because if I felt queasy I skipped meds & meals.  I was surprised.  Only one result was screwy.  Should straighten out now. Taking all my meds again.  My weight is the same & so was my A1C.  Glad for those.

    My doctor the results from my bone density xray.  It was normal.  Good to hear.

    When I got home I laid down again.  And Cinder joined me on the sofa & curled up on my lap for my entire nap.  Around supper she finally went outside.  Will get her inside again soon.

    We were a little cooler today. Only 83F instead of  92F.  Still saying storms laster ---- high winds, hail rain, etc.  Then cooler towards the weekend & super high winds.  And fire danger with the dry ground & high winds,  Will we have any crops this year???
