Today's Name Day:  Sigfrid

The only Sigfrid I heard of was a show star in Las Vegas. Never got to see them.  Two guys & their wild animals on stage.

    An ok day.  Still depressed & sore.  Plus being ignored is continuing.  Have too great a weekend to remember me.

    I slept ok last night.  Layed on my pillow wrong friday night so had a sore neck last night.  Ended up having one snack.

    Tried a short nap this afteroon but did not happen.  Got ready to go out for supper.  Makeup looked awful.  Will be careful the next time.  In a hurry I guess.

    Foggy this morning but no rain or wind.  Little cooler today.  I loosely keep track of our weather for a week at a time.  I see we have cooler temps coming.  I thought we only had warm weather forecast.  Who can keep track???

    Tonight was supper at Pizza Hut with C&N.  They are great fun!!  And we think alike.  So is our sense of humor!  I just had fries & my stomach did fine.

    After supper was groceries.  Cinder has been ok of her ham.  She beat me to the kitchen when I got home!!  I bought some Swedish cookies called Kex.  So good.  The Old Mill had some getting ready for the waffle celebration that we do.  Ours is stupid.  Sweden does it nice.  But we are selling these cookies in our gift shop that day.  LL gave me one to try.  Mistake!!!  💖. Sort of a crisp waffle cookie covered in chocolate.  If you can find some give them a try.  I have a package here now.

    Fueled the car & then home.  The traffic from the Salina was awful in town.  Went to go home on Burma Road & there was the same heavy traffic.  Sheesh!!!  Wonder why??

    Did my Spanish lesson & it was even easy.  And  fun.  Nice to understand a bit.

    Kisse is weird tonight.  She has run over me on the sofa several times.  Now curled up next to me sleeping.  A little chilly in here.  Maybe she is chilly.  Have to turn some heat on.  Cinder is sleeping on my dvr where it is always warm.  They fight over that spot.

    Photos are a mix.  Some I even like.  Deleted some I did not like.

05/2025 Måndag the 26th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

Today's Name Day:  Vilhelmina, Vilma

Knew at least one Wilma.

    I got next to no sleep last night.  Tired today.  Have had rain.  Southern & western Kansas have gotten up to 4 inches or more of rain.  I got a measely half inch.  We always get left out around here.

    I have many bags of trash to take out but it rained most of the day.  I gave up to nap.  But woke up early & rain has stopped for now.  Carried the bags out.  Great!!!  Knocked my blood sugar down but had a snack.  Should be ok.

    Just read that in Liverpool England there was a parade for the Liverpool soccer team in the Premier League victory parade.  It was an open top bus victory parade.  A car ploughed in to the parade & crowd.  The car sped up before he hit the crowd.  How sad.  The driver was arrested.  I love soccer so extra sad for me.  Unknown if anyone was injured or not.  Too soon.

    Think the Memorial Day events took place today.  Good.

    Heard from CF.  Nice family time for him.  I cannot remember times with family.  Too many years.  No family time with Mom's family.  There are gatherings but we are never included.  And I cannot be included in Willie's family stuff.  Makes me sad.  There is one person who has caused a lot troublel on both sides.

    I am glad Willie's grave is not vandalized.  Same person does that too with a helper.

    Stayed really cool today.  In the 50s & sort of foggy with rain.  My favorite weather.  Wish it would happen more often & forget those awful 90s days.  Hot weather makes me feel sick.

    There is a fly irritating me while I key.  I have bug spray but he won't sit still long enough.

    I even have supper planned.  Mac & cheese.  Love it!!

This is a photo of an old old building that was in my family.  The Fair Store.  I need to find our more info about it.  Part of Trains Brothers in it.  Sold hardware & implements.  Does not exist any more.  Near where Mom grew up.

National Peanut Butter Day

Today's Name Day: Erika

    Not a good day.  I canceled it all.  Yesterday I slept all day.  Almost missed lunch.  Then slept all afternoon.  And all evening.  Not normal.  I did some research.  RA sometimes creates fatigue.  I was clueless.  Now I know it can.  Today was the same.  Slept until almost 1pm & then all afternoon.  Feel better tonight.  Not so drowsy.  

    On top of me being odd, the cats were also weird.  Neither of them woke me in the middle of the night to eat.  And no one woke me in the morning.  Both were quiet.  Worried about me???  I got up around 1pm & fed both cats,  Cinder never asked to go outside.  THAT is really odd!!  She took a nap & so did Kisse.  After supper Cinder went outside.  After I ate then Kisse has been curled on or next to me.  That is odd for her.  Cinder did not stay out long.  Now both are sleeping somewhere.  And I am awake.  As normal as we get!! 😜

    It was warmer again last night & today.  Was foggy early.  And will be foggy again tonight & tomorrow morning.  They say friday too.  But may be close to 50 on sunday.  Do not want too warm weather but the "love summer, the hotter the better" crowd is cheering.  They forget not all love summer.  There are those of us who like winter.  And hate heat, humidity, & bugs.

    Just heard our local grocery store has homemade meals to buy & bake.  Must try.  A friend had stroganoff & said it was good.  Also have Chinese, soft tacos, & pulled pork.  Must try.  If we can heat in the microwave, then JR & I can eat in his office like we used to.  Be fun & maybe save some money.

    I finally heard from MM today.  His work area is a muddy, slushy mess.  But not so cold.  CF is in Texas.  Looked wet there too.

    Trash pick up was supposed to be yesterday.  HaHa.  Never showed nor today.  Dang.  Could have saved my energy.  Will not move the boxes back.  Sheesh.  Out of the last 4 times, they have missed 3 times.  But did one extra time.  Not good.  Glad I am not a family of 4 or 5.

    Photos are things that turned up in my memories today.  So it is an odd mix of photos.  Easy to chose.
