Today's Name Day:  Justina, Justus

Mom had a cousin Justus.

    Had a good day while out with MM.  Napped when home to help me reccover.  Since my accident my RA is much worse.  Any activity takes me some down time to recover.  And I have many new pains that come & go that I have never had before.  Wonder if I will ever be "normal" again???

    My stress has gotten so much worse.  Worries about great grandkids & MM.  Plus I have a feeling there are things from others that are not truthful to me.  No idea how to respond but I do not have good feelings about things going on, possibly behind my back.  Not sure what to do about it.  If anything.

    Picked up MM for lunch today.  Planned on going to Jalisco's.  There was not a parking spot anywhere near.  There was one around the block so we went to the Sale BARn.  Had my fave sandwhich.  It was quiet.  Wish my friend AA had been working.  He is hard to keep track of.  MM & Ih had time for a long talk.  And some goals we are working on together.  Hope it works out.

    Had a nice nap.  Both cats never saw me before I went to town.  It was early & both were sleeping.  But when I got home they both followed me to nap. Cinder curled up next to me.  Nice.  I needed her.

    I hope to work tomorrow.  I just do not make plans ahead of time.  Have to plan.

Sheltering in Place, Mood Of Silence, Day 203....

I got my flu shot yesterday. The hospital had a drive through clinic. Super easy. No appointment needed. Hope they do it next year. But last night I had a reaction to it. No big deal. It has happened before. I felt super hot, achy. My arm is sore today. With Covid I got paranoid but my temp was 97. All is well today.

Nothing today. A usual monday. Nico was a mess last night and today. No idea why. Tonight he is into everything.

More itching today. Gets so old. But could be worse and it is only my problem so no biggie.

Sheltering in Place, Mood Of Silence, Day 185....

Been mostly housebound now for over 6 months. I think this will never change. At least not in my lifetime. I do go out eat 3 times a week. Plus an occasional tea out. At tea I keep my mask on. Can use a straw easily. At Jalisco's we sit near the kitchen and not near anyone. If people start wandering around, my mask goes on. I used to be much more active. Even just being alone and going places. That part of my life is only going to get worse. Makes me sad. It is what it is.

Happy Mexican Independence Day!

Saw my eye doctor this afternoon. All is good! Shield off as of friday and can wear makeup. Finally. Vision a bit blurry tonight after she examined my eye. Getting better. I never wear my glasses now. Feels strange. I keep trying to adjust them!

JR and I at supper at Jalisco's. We go whenever JS works. They were really busy for a while. I think his feet and DV feet never touched the floor! Got better later so we could chat a bit.

The fur kids! Like having a second family. Nico has no temper control today. Poor Kisse moves and he is jumping all over me and the sofa. Then this afternoon while he was falling asleep she  slowly walked over to him, licked all over his head and walked away. Odd. He was ok with it.

Sheltering in Place, Mood Of Silence, Day 181....

A very quiet day. No sleep until 5am. My new normal.

Last evening Nico was sleeping next to me on the sofa. Kisse came over and licked his head and rubbed her head on him. A sweet moment. And he never got upset with her!

Warmer today. In the 70s. Got a bit warm in the house so the AC is on again. I was enjoying the cold nights. Sat outside with Nico twice. Does us both good.

Watching Mexican fútbol (soccer). I know the one team, Tigres, but no the other, Santos. I love to hear the announcer when a goal is made. American announcers are so boring.

Had a video chat this afternoon. A nice break to the day. Usually when I am home I just have the kids and me for company.

Mu cousin from California texted several times. He almays makes me laugh!!
