09/2025 - Martes the 02nd - JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Justina, Justus

Mom had a cousin Justus.

    Had a good day while out with MM.  Napped when home to help me reccover.  Since my accident my RA is much worse.  Any activity takes me some down time to recover.  And I have many new pains that come & go that I have never had before.  Wonder if I will ever be "normal" again???

    My stress has gotten so much worse.  Worries about great grandkids & MM.  Plus I have a feeling there are things from others that are not truthful to me.  No idea how to respond but I do not have good feelings about things going on, possibly behind my back.  Not sure what to do about it.  If anything.

    Picked up MM for lunch today.  Planned on going to Jalisco's.  There was not a parking spot anywhere near.  There was one around the block so we went to the Sale BARn.  Had my fave sandwhich.  It was quiet.  Wish my friend AA had been working.  He is hard to keep track of.  MM & Ih had time for a long talk.  And some goals we are working on together.  Hope it works out.

    Had a nice nap.  Both cats never saw me before I went to town.  It was early & both were sleeping.  But when I got home they both followed me to nap. Cinder curled up next to me.  Nice.  I needed her.

    I hope to work tomorrow.  I just do not make plans ahead of time.  Have to plan.

04/2025 Torsdag the 24th - Wandering & Capturing Moments

                                       

 Today's Name Day:  Vega

    Had a good day again.  Slept good.  No storms overnight.  Great clouds right now on my way home.  Will it rain tonight???  It is a crap shoot.

    MM wrote me yesterday that Junior wanted to see me but I missed seeing it.  So we met today at 6pm for Mexican food.  A meal filled with "I love yous" & many hugs.  Plus a great visit with a mutual friend LLy.  Great food & great company.  Sharing photos later.  It was moderately busy.

    Rain or no rain my car is filthy.  So I went to the car wash.  Did not work as good as usual.  Not happy.  There is a cool car wash in Salina I want to try.  I hear that tuesday is Ladies Day.  Might try next week or the week after.  Gotta be a better result.

    No cattle or llamas today.  Only my bulls.  Maybe tomorrow.

03/2024 Söndag the 31st - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 Easter

Today's Name Day: Ester, Noa

    Had a really good day.  Might not have felt the perkiest but it was still awesome.

    I did not feel like eating lunch,  I had 2 cookies for lunch & then a nap,

    Went to Lindsborg to the American Legion, where MK & KW  fixed a super Easter family dinner.  What a feast!!!  Steaks, chicken, mac & cheese, baked beans, veggies, desserts.  I could not eat like I want but i was satisfied,  Great steak & great cake for dessert,  And my 3 great grandsons who all had hugs & kisses!!

    KW hid all sorts of things around the Legion for kids.  Some candy & some toys,  They were all excited.  And I got all excited that I got a flower bouquet.  How special!

    MK wondered if our friend AA was eating at home alone.  His mom was at work. So he came to eat with us.  Very good to see him again.

    There was another couple  there & he knew both my grandsons,  Very nice guy,  Have to go eat where he works sometime.  Nice to meet nice new people.

    Heard from my other grandson CF.  Nice family day.  And just found out I am doing lunch out tomorrow too.  Even with a cold  front & chance of moisture.

    The weather was unreal today.  Saw 80F for the high..  Felt ok.  Then a cold front tomorrow with rain or snow.  Mother Nature eithers needs more medication or less medication.
