12/2025 - Miércoles the 17th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Inge

    Had another bad night with no sleep & nothing but low blood sugars & eating.  I have come to the conclusion the the holidays are upsetting more than usual.  I never like them since all my family but JR are absent.  Just worse this year.  Seems like all my several chronic illnesses are out of control this year.  I hope when january arrives I hope I feel normal again.  I hope.

    CF shared an awesome photo he took.  Very nice.

    Cold overnight with temps below freezing.  Today it got too warm for me.  Saw 50F here.

    I had a nice nap with my cats watching me.  Babysitting.  I was hoping tha Cinder would snuggle but she did not.

    On the news it showed around 30 kids that were picked as they have  no chance of getting Christmas gifts this year.  Each one was assigned a police officer to go with them shopping & they got to pick everything their Christmas list to keep.  No charge.  Done every year in Wichita.  Kids learn that police are just people like them.  Nice.

    Bad news is that measles is spreading like wild fire.  Huge outbreak in I think Carolina.  Why are people so stupid??  We will soon be off the list of places with few cases.

I have stopped to go in this church many times, but I never drive around the town.  I will the next time there.  Bigger than I thought.  West of where I live.

10/2025 - Sábado the 04th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day:  Frank, Frans

I had a Frank in my class in school who was my Swedish dance partner.  His father was also Frank & and a sculpturer.  I had a couple of other school friends named Frank.

    Had a cousin name ∂Frans.  He was also a neighbour.  His daughter & I were best friends for many years.

    Had a good day.  Slept good & made it to work ok.  Today was warm with strong winds.  The leaves were totally out of control!!!  I saw a pile of them shoot straight up in the air!!

    Lots of people walking around town.  And quite a few stopped in to see our show.  Nice.

    One girl who came in was from Florida & her family was from Stockholm Sweden.  We had a great visit.  I got soooo hemlängtan (home sick) talking to her.  Lots of fun.

    Our show this month are Swedish costumes, especially ones worn by our Swedish queens & kings of the Hyllningsfest.  I got all my photos taken & in an album.  Tomorrow I can read what is written about each one.

    Did get some bad news.  November is our Christmas gift sales event.  I don't do selling other than an occasional book.  So I get November off.  Probably December too  So does MH.  He does not sell anything either.  Makes me sad.  Will miss being there.  😥  Hope January goes back to normal.  Maybe they don't want me anymore.

    Supper was at Jalisco's.  Had a great visit with 2 of the wait staff.   I have now learned to say "I had a busy day".  Dia ocupado.  Fun talking to them.

    Dessert was ice cream and then groceries.

    On the way home I was pushing buttons on my steering wheel..  And odd button appeared under the box of where my cruise control used to show up.  And it stayed.  Soooooo.  I pushed a speed choice & voila!!!  My cruise works!!!  I wonder if my battery was so bad that my car software did not update.  And now it has.  Great!!! I called MM to tell him.  He sounded relieved.  Me too!!!

    MM & CW are at the Öl Stuga where a musician is performing.  They sent me a photo of them together telling me they love me.  Perfect end to my day.  I am always surprised when someone picks me to love/like.  But loving it too!!!

    I am awaiting Saturday Night Live.  Will be a great show!!  Bad Bunny is the host.  Love him.

06/2025 - Lunes the 30th- JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Elof, Leif

    Another quiet day.  Ignored by most.  I have stayed quiet.  Helping out MM tomorrow.  Same for JR.  See how tomorrow plays out.

    Had a thunderstorm last night.  I got 0.45"  & high winds.  Stayed cooler today.  Loved it.  Cooler tomorrow also.  More rain next weekend.  Leaves the 4th alone but around that day.  I really do not care.  Ignoring the holiday.  I have no family or friends to celebrate with.  No where to work.  Just staying home.  Not even lunch out.  I double checked with LL but she is eating out in the evening of the 4th.  I will not mention it again.  Holiday & I am left out.

    I found a purse I forgot I had so I switched today,  Very colorful!!  Even has my tattoo design on it.

    Rest of my day was nothing,  I tried to take a short nap but I failed.

    I shampooed my hair & styled it a bit straighter.  It is ok.  I am loving my new shampoo & rinse.  They smell good & my hair feels good,

    Cats quiet today.  I bought some plugins for gnats, etc.  I added one in my bedroom. The only plug in there is between my bed & the wall..  Has a bright blue light.  Cats were very curious all last night,
