Today's Name Day:  Liv

    Not a good day.  Thought I was ok.  Got up & dressed.  THEN I got sick.  Swore I would throw up if I ate.  Called in sick.  I hate to do that.  I feel so guilty.  After I ate lunch I got sick again.  Glad I stayed home.

    Took a long nap.  Cats were close the entire nap.  Bless them.  I could not live without them.

    Communication was scarce.  Couple of photos from MM.

    Think I know why I feel bad.  I started on my diet shots again.  Think it is its fault.  Should have only done a half dose.  Will do that for a couple of weeks.  Hope that helps.

    The winds roared today.  Almost 40mph today.  I could hear it as it is a south wind.  Temp now is 84F.  Usch.  Hate it.

    I keep hoping that someone would set my trash bins up right but I seem not to matter anymore.  Saw 2 family members here today & trash bins are the same.  Guess I will find a way to pick them up tomorrow.  I could ask but I hate to be a bother.  They used to get picked up but no more.  😔

    I ordered some smaller 3/4 length sleeve tops.  My old ones are far too big.  Do not wear short sleeves,  Ugly arms.

10 august, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

 National Spoil Your Dog Day

    I am not writing much.  After having the flu the first days of this week, I felt good around supper last night.  Ate spaghetti & meatballs.  Yum.

    Went to bed around 11pm.  Sometime after midnight my throat got scratchy.  Then I got all congested.  And miserable.  I had a date to have lunch with my cousin from Denver as she drove home.  But I cancelled.  Hate to give this to anyone else.

    I got NO sleep at all last night.  I laid down around 1pm.  Slept less than 2 hours.  Had a nightmare.  I drank some orange juice earlier that burned my throat.  Smart.

    All 3 fur kids stayed in my room with me until I got up.  Like they were guarding.  Especially cats.  They know.  Nice to have Cinder in again.  She has slept on the porch the rest of the day.  Nico has been so-so.  Sort of demanding.  He is a mess.  His allergy meds are not working.  Will increase it.

    Cute story.  Doing genealogy.  Found an uncle by marriage had an uncle & his father with cool middle names.  His uncle was Nip & his father was Tuck. Giggle!

07 march, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Still sick.  Declared another Jammie Day.  More like the flu today & not just my new shot I am taking.  My knee got very sore during the night & swollen.  Nice.  Not.  Got up to put on a pain patch. Better then.  And then finally slept.

    Nico finally got over being in a bad mood.  He & Cinder were in bed with me all night.  And Kisse was near me too.

    I went to sleep near morning.  I actually remembered all my dreams then.  I had 4 separate dreams in great detail.  Willie was in all of them.  I like that.  And a former friend & my daughter.  Did not like that.  And one of my neighbours.  That was cool.  I wrote notes about them & then wrote down details.

    I called in sick for work tomorrow.  I have trouble using my porch steps.  Basement steps at the Old Mill are scary to think about.  Next week will be ok.

    Got really sick this afternoon.  Certainly not fun.  I took some medicine & am some better.  See how supper sits with me.  Better I hope.

    Last night I watched a 3 hour show about the movie Back To The Future with the usual star of the Expedition show & Christopher Lloyd.  And many collectors of movie memorabilia.  And dozens of DeLoreans.  It was so fascinating.  I enjoyed it!  Glad I stumbled onto it.

    It has been cloudy all day.  And in the 40s.  There was rain but not here, of course.  More rain starting tomorrow night.  Here???

02 november, 2022 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    I slept pretty good last night.  And even felt good today.  Looking forward to going to Jalisco's for supper.  But seems like I just cannot win.

    I laid down to rest & then got very sick to my stomach.  I ate nothing odd or anything.  But I was really sick.  Cancelled supper & went back to bed.  Dang.

    For supper I had potato & bacon soup.  Really good but needed more bacon.  Next time will add some.  So far I feel ok.  I had not bought any soup for a long time.  No idea why.  I get tired of tv dinners.

    Nico was not thrilled there was nothing for him for supper.  Big baby.  He is on a diet, but I finally gave in & let him have a little lunch meat.  Not much.

    When we went to Vegas there are Ethel M candy shops everywhere.  I always brought home a small box for me.  We live close to a Russel Stover plant.  Ethel M is 100x better.  Well, I splurged & ordered me a box.  Far too expensive but decided I deserved it.  MMMMM.  Ethel M is Ethel Mars who started Mars Candy.  There is a factory you can tour in Vegas.  Or there used to be.  How I miss Vegas.  I should just go alone & enjoy.

    Very windy out today.  In a fire danger area.  Same tomorrow but rain comes tomorrow night.  Chance of snow in western Kansas.  Not to amount to much but I am tempted to drive there just to see it!!!  I love snow.
