    Good day sort of.  Last night was awful & left me feeling bad today.

    Changed my glucose sensor.  And it would not work & kept sending me errors messages.  Finally removed it & added a new one,  The last one I had.  It started out not reading my glucose right.  Dang.  I believed it & ate extra thinking I was low.  I was actually quite high.  I tried to ignore it over night but it kept waking me up.  Finally got better & more accurate.  I stick my finger often to double check,  They are pretty close today.  I managed some sleep this morning & after lunch.

    I had a 4pm apppointment with Henry for a hair cut.  First since november.  He cut enough off I think I am 10 pounds thinner!!!  I showed him the hair style I wanted & he did it.  And sort of explained how to redo it or whatever.  I like it!!!  Much better!!!

    I stopped to pick up Arbys for supper.  It was too much but good.  Cinder wanted me to share.  She does not need people food.  Her treat is a thin slice of ham.  That is enough.  Kisse does not like people food.

    Leaving the house to go to Salina I saw a cat in the cattle pen.  Seen it before.  Gray.  Probably a cousin to Kisse.  Today there has been thousands of black birds in the pasture on the ground or in trees.  Loud!! I took photos but they are not good ones but gives you an idea how many there were.  Cattle were here when I left also.

    It was cold last night but warm today.  Chance of rain/snow tonight.  They have moved it to include my farm.  Amazing.  Not going to be freezing so no ice or much snow.

Halloween cookie

Today's Name Day:   Finn

    A better day.  Heard from MM.  And email from JL.  Everyone else was quiet.  Decided not to bother anyone.  I told MM to just forget me next week but he wont hear of it.

    Warm today but rain in the NW corner of Kansas.  Nothing too severe but a couple of warnings posted now.

    I had a hair appointment.  I was scared Henry would not want me as a customer anymore.  But he asked how my life is going.  He almost always calls if I do miss an appointment but he ignored me  a week ago.  But I sure apologised.  My hair looks so much better!!!  A lot shorter.  Made sure my next appointment is on my calendar.

    I stopped at Arby's on the way home.  Beef sandwich, apple turnover, coke.  Cinder help me eat my beef meat.  She does not always like people food.  Today she begged.

    Bad time to leave my appointment in Salina.  Super busy. Quitting time!  No bueno.

    I do not like most tv shows on the 3 main networks.  But thursday nights have a couple of shows I do like.  New ones tonight!

    Got home & Kyle had picked up most of my boxes.  Bless his heart.  He said just put boxes out anytime & he would take care of them.  I am blessed.

    Glad to miss the festival this weekend.  No one to help me get there anyway.  Better if I just stay home.  No one will miss me.  Maybe the lady who screamed at me 2 years ago when I dared to park near the SVAFC door because I am in pain & cannot walk far.  She did not care when I explained.  There are 20 other parking spots.  I took one.  She does not own them all.  I will not be even close to there this weekend.  I am on an official sabbatical until january 1, 2026.  So is MH.  Will miss him.  Try to see him occasionally at the Peacock,

    Hope LL had a better day. Will not bother her though.  Busy weekend for her & njthe Mill.  Might text AP.

    Got to trim my fingernails.  How can they grow so fast???  What a pain in the butt.

08 june, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    I slept good last night.  It was nice.  Cinder curled up by me.  So did Nico.  Both were calm so I could sleep. 

    This afternoon I had my hair cut & styled.  Looks good again!  Fun to chat with HP.  A good afternoon.

    I took a short rest.  But Nico kept bothering me.  And for no good reason.

    I just had him out.  What a miserable weather day.  It was 98F then.  Felt really bad.  And made me feel sick.  I do not tolerate heat &/or humidity well.  And I get made fun of for liking cool weather.  And Nico wanted to lay in the sun.  Awful!

    I did not dare to check my mail before my hair app't.  I could hardly wait to get home.  My charger for my laptop was there.  It works perfectly.  So nice to be able to key normally.  My ipad is just not good.  Hate the onscreen keyboard.

Wandering Through Life, 7 September 2021

    Today was a day at home except for my first haircut in 3 months!!!  No color today but that is ok.  It is trimmed up and looks and feels great!  And I missed seeing HP.  Wish we were friends not just in his business.

    Weather was pretty nice.  Cooling off tonight with a low in the 50s.  Sounds good to me.  Only one day.  Then summer again.  Ick.

    I have 2 sparrows who roost under my carport roof.  I noticed last night there was a third one! A friend or one of this years kids?  Cool!
