Today's Name Day:  Solbritt , Solveig

    Today was not good.  I was very sick overnight & awake many hours.  Almost needed to go to the ER.  I cancelled today.  Disappointed.  Had nice plans.  Not this week.

    Weather has been ok,  Maybe a bit cooler.  Light rain on occasion.  Not enough to get excited about.  Western Kansas had places with up to 5" or so.  They really needed it.  They have missed out on lots of rain.  We are not quite that bad here.

    On the news it is official the rains were too late for our wheat.  But will help fall crops.  I hope.  Local weatherman did say something great.  He says he sees no super hot weather on the way here.  I sure hope he is correct!!!  Short time hope.

    Found some new cat food.  Daisy liked it.  I am sure Cinder & Kisse would turn their noses up.  Soo picky.  Even the foods they like they are picky about.  Don't know what do to.  I try new things in case they will like it.  Daisy is set for life!!!  She eats anything!!

    Everyone is quiet today,  Just a short email from JL.  Sometimes I feel people are not wanting to be my friend.  Had one new friend I was so sure we would be friends.  Never saw him again.  We have mutual friends, just not with me.  I cry thinking about it.  Had one fun afternoon.  Scared of losing 2 recent new friends.  Makes me sad.  Feel like I just cannot win.  Definitely something wrong with me.

    I did hear from an old friend from Guatemala.  Great artist.  Spent lots of time with him when he was in this country.  But he has turned political & is busy at his home but the other night he wrote to me.  Great to hear from him.  Nice.  Glad we are still friends.

    MM is away for a famiy wedding.  Looks like he is having fun.  I am a bit jealous.  I rarely to never have those kind of days.  Ignored by family & friends.

    Back at the gallery tomorrow.  New show.  Anxious to see.  I know what it is.  But not seen anything about it.

    I hate the tv.  Awful.  Have a special video on the DishTV does.  I am fighting tears.  Just need noise.  Cinder was on me. Will call her back when I am done blogging.

    Photos are a mix..  Nothing special.  Trying to not share so many.  People maybe don't care.

Today's Name Day:  Volmar , Valdemar

    Today could have been worse.  I got little sleep last night.  And lunch today sort of upset my stomach.  Nothing too bad. Think I was mostly just tired.  Stayed home.  Took a nap.

    I did clean up my desk.  Too much junk on it.  Put it all in a basket.  Looks better.

    I did go out & search for cat food I ordered.  They did without last night.  They ate what I put out.  There was 2 mail packages on my one trash bin.  Got those inside.

    Long email from JL.  Good to hear from her.  Wrote her back.  Everyone else quiet or posted things not having to do with me.  Always fun to watch others have good times with friends while I am sitting at home alone with nary a text or anything.  I am always left out.

    Blood sugar dropped around supper time.  So I focused on getting it normal & not supper.  So I had no real supper.  Just junk.  Oh well.  As long as I am ok to work tomorrow.  Cannot be sick.  I have MH on standby to make sure I get inside the gallery.

    Watching a show about what happened to Glenn Miller in WWII.  His plane has never been found.  Interesting.  There are several theories.  Cannot prove any of them.

    Kisse just crawled into a sack of trash & is curled up.  Cute.  Sleeping there now.  Trash is just paper stuff.

    Stayed cooler today.  Highs in the 60s.  Love it.  Chilly last night.  Colder tonight.  Then starting monday it warms up.  No bueno.

    Reconnected with an old friend.  One of the original people I started blogging with so many years ago.  Good to hear from her.  She is from Sweden but now lives in Canada.  She has always had a cat but her last one died a while back.  She did not think she would get another one but she just did.  Cool!  Pretty cat.

    Pictures are things I like.  They are not sorted.  Too lazy,.  I am surprised there are still people from Sweden who like my blog.  Good.  But none from Mexico.  Oh well.  Cannot please everyone.

    Last night I joined a Swedish group.  They posted a long piece about a holiday coming up.  I read it all in my mind & knew most of the words.  Understood it all.  Proud of me.  No has ever really helped me learn Swedish.  Classes I took were years ago.  But have never been invited to lunch or coffee to practice Swedish.  Would have been fun.  Too late now.

    My Spanish lessons are so-so.  There were some that were painful.  But the last few lessons easier.  A relief.

My cousin, close friend.  I live here.  She lives in Denver.  We both are sick now & it is doubtful we will see each other again.  I miss her & Denver so much.  But I am without family to drive me anywhere.
