Today's Name Day:  Jakob

Known several Jacobs.

    I cancelled today as soon as I woke up.  Health issues.  I hate to miss work & eating out but. I have done what I can do today.  Which is mostly nothing.  Got support from MM.

    We had thunderstorms last night.  Lasted all night until this morning.  I got next to nothing.  Lindsborg got much more than me.  Marquette got a lot more than me.  Same as always.  Rain forcast for tonight.  Yeah Right.  It did stay cooler today & cloudy.  Ends this weekend,  Of course.  Back under the dome of heat.  🔥

    No plans for tomorrow.  Plans on sunday.  I hope.  I know I have to meet with MM.

    Cool photo from CW.  Loved it.  Lucky him.  Plus he loved a video I posted.  So did MM.  Nice.

Cousin's kitchen window in Järvsö Sweden.  We ate breakfast here every day.  Heaven on earth.

05/2025 Torsdag the 22nd - Wandering & Capturing Moments

 

Today's Name Day:  Hemming, Henning

    Not a good day.  CF left at noon for Minnesota.  Using an uber driver.  I am beyond sad.  Feel like I will not ever see him again.

    I felt sick all night but my diabetes was ok.  Odd.  I cancelled today.  Felt I should not drive or go out until I feel normal.  Or more normal.  I should not be on FB.  I care about nothing today.  I know I have people who do care but today I do not feel it.  Not cancelling tomorrow yet.  Depends on the weather.  Severe storms possible.

02 may, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

    Just a quiet day.  Had a little trouble sleeping last night.  Willie was on my mind.  Kept me awake.  We should have had time to just enjoy life. 

    Nice weather today.  High was 71F & low was 36F.  No wind.  Change is coming.  More breeze.  Maybe rain.

    Nico & I took a nice nap.  He has a habit of waking me halfway through but not today.  Nice.

    Then I forced myself to shampoo my hair.  It went good.  And dried easy.  Soon to have my hair colored.

    I have a dress I thought was so cute in the catalogue but when I got it I hated it.  But today I have it on.  Comfy but sure glad I have no close neighbours!!  Or anyone coming to the door!!  Awful!

    Supper is not sitting good on my tummy.  Hope it just goes away.  I ate something that should not have bothered me but it sure has.  Will donate it to the wild life here.  Not Nico.

09 october, 2022 Wandering & Capturing Moments

                                                                         

    Today is Leif Erikson Day.  Here long before anyone else.  I never mention the "holiday" that tomorrow is.

    I had a much better day today.  I slept more & would have slept more time if Nico had quit barking at god knows what.  He made it sound like Godzilla was in our yard!

    I lost a bit of sleep when I felt sick around 2am.  I checked my blood sugar & it was scary low!!  So I ate some stuff & then all was ok.  Thought I ate enough for supper.  So far ok today.

    JR & I had lunch at Jalisco's.  It was very slow then got really busy.  There was a class reunion in town this weekend & thought maybe some of them would eat in there.  I did not see anyone.

    Lunch was a struggle for me.  My stomach did not feel well.  I only could eat half of my burrito.  Ice cream was better.  I was going to have JR come here to help me move some things but I was too tired.  Nico slept as long as I did too!

    I sat outside for quite a while.  Nico sunbathed while Cinder gave us both attention!  It was so nice out until I saw a mosquito.  Then in I went.  Our temps were 43F & 76F.  Local weather said maybe rain on monday.  Quite doubtful.  Next 2 days too warm.  Hope they are wrong.

    Watching a tv show about Cleopatra.  Quite interesting.  Better than network shows.  Nice to learn something new.  Or somethings new.
