Quarantine Day 98...... Happy Father's Day!

 A very nice day. It is Father's Day but no we had no celebrations. Should have visited 2 cemeteries but I just there a day or so ago. It is ok. Posting an old photos of my parents.  I miss them both more than I can say!

My brother and I ate at Jalisco's. I always feel at home there. One of the few places. But. Today they got far too busy for me. I finally put my mask on and then we left. No other masks were seen. Just selfish people. Every thing you hear or see says to wear a mask in public. And no one listens. Like the entire restaurant only cares about themselves. Ok. Off my soapbox. No one cares or listens. 

Warnings all afternoon of severe weather. And nada. NOW hours later it is raining. See how severe it gets. Was severe west of here.

Quarantine Day 97......

A bit warmer today. Not awful though. But it is coming. We had no rain last night or today. But tomorrow there might be severe weather. I like storms and all but living alone I get a bit more frightened. At least when Willie was here, I had someone to sit with in the tornado shelter. Hope the weather is not that bad.

Have a small hornet's nest near my front door. I soaked it the other day when the owner was gone. When he came back he should have died. Guess I will have to soak him. I am terrified of hornets.

My hands have started itching really bad. No idea why unless it is my Sjogrens. And now my arms too. No bites or anything just itching. See my doctor soon. Hope he can prescribe something.

Watching my show on Acorn TV. I love it but last night and today it hit home far too much. Had me in tears both times.

Quarantine Day 96......

 We got rain last night. It was noisy all night. I had a total of 1.5". Could have waited until harvest was over but we are in a drought also. Tough choices.

Today felt like autumn. I loved it. Wish it would last. But the heat will return. Of course. Just for me, no doubt.

Had supper at Jalisco's. Great food and joking with the waiters. And chatting with my brother. A nice night. I always look forward to these nice nights.

Nico has gotten to be quite the cuddler. I have no idea why. He has never been cuddly. He always likes to lay close but now he curls up on me and just snuggles. Kisse cuddles in the middle of the night. Last night was more than usual and then she was needy again around 8am. Been a nice, loving day for me.

College soccer team has scheduled their first match. Dare I hope?! Not until September. They have a lot of return players and a couple of new members.

The county I live in and the next county next to us have both added several cases of Covid 19. Masks, anyone? One hot spot was a bar. The other county I have no idea.
