6/2026 - Monday the 22th - MY JOURNEY

Memories from last weekend.

Today's Name Day: Paulina , Paula

I once had a close friend named Paula. No longer. Know another Paula.

Today was an ok day. Slept really good. All my stress, anxiety, tiredness caught up with me last night. Went to bed really early. Needed lots of rest. Still today. Needed to run an errand but it will wait until tomorrow.

Weather is nice. No rain or storms here. High today was 75F. Very nice. If only summer could stay this way. Ha. Never in Kansas. In all my years here I remember only one harvest that was nice cool weather. What a joy. Only one. All the rest were hot, windy & dirty.

Cinder had to cuddle for a while on me after my nap. Nice. I closed my laptop to give her the attention.

Only got an email from JL. Everyone else was quiet.

I needed to carry out more trash today. Too tired & pain is starting from the coming storms tomorrow.

Did get a text from MM. A good text. His boys are still here. Good for the 3 of them. His youngest son is in Wichita with his mom.

Truly my life. I know lots of people but not friends with anyone. I am often alone or just with my brother. I have tried to create friendships but given up. Never works out for me.

6/2026 - Friday the 5th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Bo

Today was a great day with perfect Kansas wonderful weather. Who could ask for more? I feel great with no pain or sugar problems. So healthy.

Interacted with many local people today. Great to be around folks with Swedish ancestry. The best!

Spent time in a coffee shop. Perfect. Then later in a 2 local business. And lots of locals.

Have been familiar with a local artist & his work. Today we had a good visit & I admitted we are related. And I had a couple of stories about the farm he lives on. He might have enjoyed them. I only want to please others.

I admire people who can fall sleep at the drop of a hat no matter where they are. Cool & lucky.

I am home now with my cats. Inside cats are sleeping & Daisy is eating.

I am making lots of changes after some faults I am now aware of. Hope I offend no one. And if I have, I apologize.

Celebrated a friends birthday today. Sweet!!

04/2026 - Torsdagen den 2:e - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day: Gudmund, Ingemund

My day did not start good. Low blood sugar most of the night. Then an upset stomach when I got up. I was afraid I would be sick like I was yesterday. I just cancelled the day. I ate lunch without any problems. Maybe could have eaten out today but I did not feel perky enough to. And still scared it could turn worse. I just took it easy today. Want to work tomorrow. And saturday.

Weather is ok. The wind has calmed way down. Been outside twice. We had rain overnight. One tv weather posted who got how much rain. Towns east of me got from 1 inch to 4 inches. Lovely. I got a wonderful 0.12 inches. Yeah. That pulled us out of the drought area. Pathetic. Rain chances tomorrow night and another cold front.. I am not in it. Close but no cigar. And high winds again tomorrow. We always get high winds just no rain.

I bonded with Miss Kitty twice. She is sweet. No cattle near my yard today. And no llamas.

I did watch Colbert & my soaps. Colbert is always great. What will I do without him. Stupid CBS. There are two other late night shows. One I like the other one not so much. Then a later one I love.

I took a short nap. Cinder snuggled for a while then moved to lay in the sunshine by the window. Kisse was in the bedroom in her bed. She has not laid in the pet bed for a couple of months. Last night she slept there all night. Great!!! Cinder rarely sleeps in it.

Email with JL. MM posted photos but not for me. Business ad they are filming. Nothing from anyone else. Usual for me.

Got an order I did for crackers & cookies. Good for a while now. Hard to depend on JR when I do not go in the store to see what they have. Order from Amazon.
