9/2026 - Monday the 28th - MY JOURNEY

I have known a Leonoard or two.

    Today was great weather.  Hope it lasts.  They have heavy rain forecast starting wednesday or thursday then for several more days. I hope they are correct

    I met my friend RG for a Jalisco lunch.  Not too busy.  Good to see my friends there.  I have sure missed him.  Good conversation.  I know I talk too much when all I have are my cats. I try not to talk to much.

    I did not sleep well last night so I was tired.  Thanks to my 3 cats.  They were restless.  Small moments of hissing.  I let Daisy outside yesterday but not today.  When I went out she did not try to follow.  Maybe the wild animal ife outside is not so good.

    Sure did not take me long to get ready to go to out today.  They already have food out & fresh water.  The wild ones are officially out of water & food.

    Daisy was laying on me on the sofa.  Then she moved to a north window to sleep & look outside.  Now she is back to the sofa.  Laying on my chest.

    No other comments from anyone else today.

    I need groceries but maybe later tonight.  Maybe I can wait until thursday.  No plans for that day.

    The other sort of volunteer is quitting as of today.  I am thinking of maybe changing the days I work. Maybe be easier on me over all,  Thinking about it.

    I have been ill off & on for around 3 weeks.  JR for 2 days.  And a friend was sick yesterday.  He has other health issues but same old stuff like me.  I might need to start wearing a mask.  If I think that will help.  Need to schedule a covid shot & a flu shot.

    Time for spanish.  Has been ok.  I just quit when I feel like it.  Am too tired to care.

This is the end of my sunflowers & all other flowers.  Cool weather perked them up today.

Pink flowers that bloom after rain.  Still looking good.  Too lazy to look them up again.

Leaves have not started changing color yet here.

                                                         

              

8/2026 - Thursday the 6th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Alfons , Inez

I have a cousin named Afred.  Goes by Al.  Known a couple of women named Inez.

    Today started as a jammie day.  Just thrilled to be home & doing nothing.  Jammie Day ended after my nap.  Then jumped in the shower & changed to a new shirt & slacks.

    Today was my usual day to eat out with the thursday group.  But they are not speaking to me at the moment.  They are talking ABOUT me though.  They want to change our day to friday & to go to Salina to eat.  I cannot do that.  LL & I always eat out on friday noon & have for several years.  Plus I work every friday period.  I told them all this & they ignored me from then on.  Now have deleted all messages from them.  They were going to  ignore me any way.  .I am done with them I fear.  Do they care???

    Great weather today,  Highs in the 80s with a nice breeze.  Daisy & I love it!!!  After lunch I took a nice nap.

    I now know why my blog does not work.  Tried to change it but it just comes back.  Have to learn to accept.  The one part showing how many people who look at my blog has returned to normal.  Maybe new software & hopefully things will get better,

    Shampooed my hair.  Does not matter if I do it or Henry does it my scalp always ends up itching,  Products make no difference.  Very irritating,

    Thought I was out of V8 Energy.  I was wrong.  I have plenty now!!!  I have one every noon. I am out of Hint.  Need to reorder more.

    A good friend is traveling in Italy & sent me many photos,  Then they stopped.  I asked why.  He lost his phone..  No bueno!!  He was our Coronado!!!

     No idea when he will be home.  Wish I could travel.  No one to help me in any way.  No family, no friends.  No luck.

    Tomorrow I work for MH at the SVAFC.. Fun.

    Supper time.  Clueless what to eat,  TV dinner???

6/2026 - Monday the 22th - MY JOURNEY

 

Memories from last weekend.

Today's Name Day:  Paulina , Paula

I once had a close friend named Paula.  No longer.  Know another Paula.

    Today was an ok day.  Slept really good.  All my stress, anxiety, tiredness caught up with me last night.  Went to bed really early.  Needed lots of rest.  Still today.  Needed to run an errand but it will wait until tomorrow.

    Weather is nice.  No rain or storms here.  High today was 75F.  Very nice.  If only summer could stay this way.  Ha.  Never in Kansas.  In all my years here I remember only one harvest that was nice cool weather.  What a joy.  Only one.  All the rest were hot, windy & dirty.

    Cinder had to cuddle for a while on me after my nap.  Nice.  I closed my laptop to give her the attention.

    Only got an email from JL.  Everyone else was quiet.

    I needed to carry out more trash today.  Too tired & pain is starting from the coming storms tomorrow.

    Did get a text from MM.  A good text.  His boys are still here.  Good for the 3 of them.  His youngest son is in Wichita with his mom.

Truly my life.  I know lots of people but not friends with anyone.  I am often alone or just with my brother.  I have tried to create friendships but given up.  Never works out for me.
