Today's Name Day:  Arne , Arnold

I have known an Arnold in Willie's family.  Maybe 2.  I have known of an Arne or two.

    Today was part good & part really bad.  The chips I ate for supper last night made me soooo sick,  My stomach was sick all last night.  And most of today.  I took meds.  Did not help.  Almost cancelled my xray.  But I managed.

    I had lunch then off to LBK to the hospital.  Fast to the ladies room then all was ok.  Xray was easy.  Only had to lay flat.  After  got home had a text from Dr Baxa.  Good news!

They mispelled his name.  Baxa not box.  Nice to know something is good.

    Next to Falun to vote.  I was confused some of the time.  Should have had a list candidates.  But the important issues I got right.  Whew!!

    Got home & tried to nap.  Just rested.  Supper will be China leftovers.  JL. China is across the street from Jalisco's!!

    Daisy did not hear me for lunch.  I never turned the TV on.  I had to call & call to wake her.  But when I got home she came running.  And watched me park.  Sweetie!!

    Watching my soaps.  Then spanish tonight.  Work tomorrow but need food for supper at work.  Stupid.

07/2026 - Tuesday the 28th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day:  Botvid , Seved 

    Today was same as yesterday.  Home alone & little communication with anyone.  Be good to be at work tomorrow.  Only an email today.  Everyone else ignored me.  Everyone stays in contact with their own friends & makes sure they are ok.  I am not one of them.

    Cooler today.  Only got to 96F today.  House was ok.  Super humid outside.  Ick.  Southern KS was still over 100F.  Wichita weatherman was all disappointed that they have not hit 100F yet.  Idiot.  Who wishes for temps over 100F??

    We did get sprinkles during the night.  Not enough to get excited about.  Now they say there might rain here in the morning,

    The hospital called this morning to schedule the xray that Dr. Baxa wants done.  First week of August I will have it done.  Nothing too major.

    This week is too busy.  I need to order groceries for me but I have no time to pick it up.  Very frustrating,  Just need lunch meat for Cinder & I.  Might need JR to get some for us.  Have to take him to McPherson this week about his cellphone bill.  Oh well. I will manage. I have time on saturday but I will be out by then.

    Cinder scared me big time today.  I got up & she had not been in the bedroom for a long time.  I fed Daisy, fixed my lunch & turned the TV on.  No Cinder.  I finally called for her.  No Cinder.  I called for a long, long time.  She finally came crawling out from the front of the house.  She came to cuddle for a long time.  And she close since then.

    A good friend is in Italy this week.  Lucky him.  He is sharing wherever they eat & city street scenes.  As close to traveling I will get.  I would enjoy just to get to Great Bend.  Ha.  Not going to happen.  Only if I go alone.

Fairbury Nebraska.  Nice city.  There was a birthday & a wedding.  Back when I was part that family.  Miss those days.

Today's Name Day: Ingvar, Ingvor

    I was up sort of early to get ready to go to a dr. appointment.  I could not decide where to eat lunch.  Decided at home.  Cinder was outside but came in after I was dressed & went to her nest on the washer.  I was glad she was inside,  No worries for me.  I even had time to watch most of one of my soaps.

    I went to Wichita for an xray of my bones.  It is around a 2 hour drive.  And of course summer is high road repair time.  I drove through around 3 areas of construction.  Not too bad.  Seemed to be lots of traffic today also.

    The xray was at my RA clinic.  Getting there is always a treat.  I miss my turn more than I make it.  At least today I knew I missed & thought I could just turn at the next street & go back.  That does not work.  Not even close.  I was beyond lost.  I finally had to call OnStar.  And got lost again.  I finally got on the right street & then all was ok.  Sheesh.  Then there was no parking spots!!  But I saw some people heading for their truck & just sat.  Good spot.  Easy xray.  I just laid on a table.  Easy.

    Drove back to town & picked up JR & we went to eat at the Happy Swede.  It has been closed for a while for redecorating & changing how they do business.  It was very cool..  We both had burgers.  Of course too much for me but that was ok.  And they were busy.

    I have a large group on FB called Lindsborg Now.  We have over 7,000 members.  Have had trouble with some people being rude about 2 of our new eating places.  I have started deleting rude comments.  Give places a chance.  Sheesh.  I found nothing to complain about.  Food was good, help are friendly & nice.  I will put that online.  Trying to keep 7,000 people in line is like nailing jello to a tree!!!

    I drove through the car wash.  Long overdue.  No sooner drove out & it sprinkled outside!!  A sprinkle is not helping our drought.  It gets worse daily.  Very sad.
