Where is my winter??  Super warm weather is coming again.  Drought is back.  😔

Today's Name Day:  Ella,  Gabriella

Have known an Ellie & Elly.  Know a sweet Gabi.  Love the name Gabriella.

    Had a good day today.  Slept sort of ok.  But I was so chilly all night.  I added socks, long sleeved shirt, & a third blanket.  Then I felt cozy

    Up early to get ready for lunch out.  Met my thursday group.  I got there first.  Then MH showed up.  I usually watch who comes in but I failed.  CA & SR came in but did not see me.  They sat up front.  We were in the back.  And they are never late.  I finally called CA.  What a shock that they were in & had their food!!!  That was a first!!!  I only had a burger & fries.  Really good.  We visited until around  130pm.  Then I went home.

    Checked the mail hoping for my glucose sensors.  Nothing but junk in the mailbox..  Maybe tomorrow.

    I took a nice, restful & cozy nap.  Needed that.

    Temps are falling now.   It is 29 here now.  Have water dripping.  Small chance for some moisture of some kind.  Short break from heat & bugs.  Weathermen are sooo excited for heat returning.  Where is our winter.  I am not excited.  Flies inside the house & a mosquito in my car.  Have a bug zapper ordered.  My old one does not work.  I assume the heat, humidity, & bug lovers are happy.

    Huge fires continue in southern Kansas.  Had a man on the news who lost his mom's house, his house, his farm buildings/equipment.  He had  safes in his house that were supposed to be fireproof.  Everything in those safes burned up.  He lost a milllion dollars of  damage that he is not sure he can recover.  His neighbours are helping him & his family in big ways.  Don't always see that in cities.

    I had some mail in boxes but too cold to mess with.  Wait for the heat again.  Nothing important that the cold will hurt.

    Emailing JL today.  That was it.  Photos are a mix & even a couple I took.

02/2026 - Måndag den 16:e - MY JOURNEY

Someone in town had a Princess Tårta cake for sale.  Wish I could have had it but too much for one person.  A favorite Swedish food.  Had one there.  Also it in Lindsborg once & at IKEA.

Today's Name Day:  Julia, Julius

Worked with a Julia.  Knew a man named Julius.

    Day was sort of ok.  Not much sleep overnight.  Had a cozy nap this afternoon with Cinder snuggling the entire time.  My angels must have listened to me beg.  And maybe a Name Day gift.

    Far too warm today.  Had the AC on.  There are flies in my kitchen sink & outside.  Usch.  But as long as everyone is happy my feelings do not matter.

    I saw the llamas near my yard but they stayed mixed in with the cattle.  I sat outside hoping they would move away from cattle & the trees in my yard.  Wishing for too much.  No photo.  But cool to finally see them.

    Had some strong winds here today early.  Worse tomorrow.  I never moved my flattened boxes.  Do it another day.  Trash day tomorrow.  And my back was not up to lifting today.  During the night I sure hurt.  Less pain today though.

    Family is quiet.  Email from JL.  SnapChat from a Texas friend.  She is sweet.  MM will acknowledge if I text him but no answer.  That is it.

    Got a new pain roll on med.  Testing it now.  See how good it is.

    While awake last night was surfing online.  I found a live video from ATR at the circus in Salina.  When we left Pizza Hut last night the traffic from there was amazing!!  And on Burma Road too.  No clue why until I saw his videos.  Fun to see the circus & him & his family!
