02/2026 - Lördagen den 14: e - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Valentin

    No blog today.  Too many memories.  Tried to nap but ended up crying.  No one needs to hear my thoughts.  Tried to ignore any lovey dovey posts or celebration posts.  I have nothing like those in my life.

    Noticed that no one from Scandinavia reads my blog anymore.  Probably because I live in a bad country.  Very sad.  And I post Swedish things but get ignored.

    We had rain last night.  Lindsborg had around a half inch.  I had a third of an inch.  Liked it anyway.

    Had a sweet message from someone on SnapChat.  No idea why she likes me but she does.  And a long conversation with my Amigos Mexicanos from Jalisco's.  They made my day.  They are the best.  💖

    Photos are a mix..  Some good..  Some so-so.

06/2025 - Lunes the 30th- JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Elof, Leif

    Another quiet day.  Ignored by most.  I have stayed quiet.  Helping out MM tomorrow.  Same for JR.  See how tomorrow plays out.

    Had a thunderstorm last night.  I got 0.45"  & high winds.  Stayed cooler today.  Loved it.  Cooler tomorrow also.  More rain next weekend.  Leaves the 4th alone but around that day.  I really do not care.  Ignoring the holiday.  I have no family or friends to celebrate with.  No where to work.  Just staying home.  Not even lunch out.  I double checked with LL but she is eating out in the evening of the 4th.  I will not mention it again.  Holiday & I am left out.

    I found a purse I forgot I had so I switched today,  Very colorful!!  Even has my tattoo design on it.

    Rest of my day was nothing,  I tried to take a short nap but I failed.

    I shampooed my hair & styled it a bit straighter.  It is ok.  I am loving my new shampoo & rinse.  They smell good & my hair feels good,

    Cats quiet today.  I bought some plugins for gnats, etc.  I added one in my bedroom. The only plug in there is between my bed & the wall..  Has a bright blue light.  Cats were very curious all last night,

Today's Name Day is Finn

    What a day!!  Did not sleep much so I slept today.  And there were dozens of people here!  So Nico barked!  Two mail deliveries, 2 four wheelers, large load of bulls put in the pasture, etc.  I had a delivery I thought I needed to sign for.  But I made an error in my order.  Now fixed & will come later this week.

    I ordered a mask for Nico so I do not get bit.  What a joke that was.  A piece of crap.  No way I could ever get it on him.  Cheap crap.  I had another idea so I tried that.  That was a major error.  I got bit so bad.  Won't say more.  Called my vet.  She would not even talk to me.  The mask they use is awesome but they do not sell anything so nice.  Told me to just walk around Salina looking for what I want.  I was crying when I called & no one sounded very caring.  Ordered one from Amazon.  Hopefully it will work.  Nice to get some support when I needed it.  Ha.

    Trash tomorrow.  I have a ton of boxes that I have not been able to trash due to wind.  Today I moved my bins to either side of a tree.  I piled the boxes in between them. They are tightly packed in. One bin is all trash, the other smaller boxes.  Feels good.  Might have a little wind but hopefully not strong.

    I had a class reunion last saturday night.  But after working & with the stress I have, I just went home.  The group who helps plan these all hear from many classmates, but I hear from no one.  When we graduated, I lost all my friends.  They went their way & I got married.  And forgotten.  Oh well.  One classmate called & said I was missed.  I do not feel missed.  Hope I feel better when we have another one so maybe I can go.

03 august, 2023 Wandering & Capturing Moments

     Slept so-so.  Not bad.  Had to be up early.  Cinder cuddled with me for a while.  Nice.

    Today I had my hair trimmed & styled.  Nice to be pampered.  Just seeing Henry is good.  Such a nice person.  Will look good for a few days!

    After my hair, I went to Dillons to pick up groceries.  They almost always have what I want or they offer a substitute & I chose if I want it or not.  Better than ordering 3 bags of food but only getting 1 bag.

    Last night after going to bed I could see lightning SW of me.  It kept moving & was over my house.  And moved on.  I could see distant flashes for hours.  With all that, we got nary a drop of rain.  Then this morning we had a tiny shower.  Plus on the way home from Salina there was rain in Assaria, but not where I live.  Tonight chance of severe storms.  Nothing yet.

    Cooler today.  Only 92F.  It was pleasant out a while ago.  Nice breeze.  They said the super hot weather is not going to be here next week.  I hope they are correct.

    Heard from no one today.  Not even my grandsons.  Busy I guess.  My oldest great grandson has a birthday today.  Busy with him.
