10/2026 - Monday the 19th - MY JOURNEY

 

Sad photo but I have sweet memories of all 3 kittens.  And glad we have Kisse.  She is a blessing.

Today's Name Day:  Tore , Tor

     Today was a good weather day.  Our low was 47 & the warm was 71.  Not bad.  Today did turn into a Jammie Day.  Somewhere in KS there was rain but not here.  Tomorrow will be better.  Lunch out.

    I had a day of rest.  My stress has got the best of me.  Hope this week goes good.  Want my life back,

    Not watched any local news today.  drumph was in Wichita.  Do not want to see him.  What a mess in town there.  Lucky them.

    Tried to blog tonite.  I had no photos in my dock.  Where did they go?  I tried to find how to replace them.  Finally I got lucky & found directions. They were  super easy..  I can remember how to if it happens again.  Why can life not be easier???

    Will try to see who will drive me & my car to be fixed.  Hope that it goes good.  Call tomorrow.

    No chatting today.  Only one email.  I so appreciate her.  Sweet friend!!!

9/2026 - Sunday the 20th - MY JOURNEY

 

Today's Name Day:  Lisa , Elise

I have known several Lisas mostly from school.  My great grandmother's middle name was Elise.  Love that name.      

    Today was pretty good.  Especially tonight.  Was cool overnight.  I saw 65F overnight.  Today was 71F.  Heavenly day!!!  Hope it lasts.

    My blood sugar was high again but not as high.  Then today I laid down for a nap.  My glucose senser woke me when my BS got too low.  I ate a cookie & that did not help so supper it was.  Not high tonight.  Might need to eat another carb or two.

    The house is a bit chilly so I have a little heat turned on.  How nice.  I love this weather.

    Tonight I sat outside with Daisy.  And the llamas were near.  They could hear me.  But I never got close.  Just a few photos.  Lots of Daisy photos.  If she could just slow down.  Hard to get a nice photo.

    Had rain last night.  My total was 1.79".  JR total was 1.33".  Did not rain for as long as I hoped for.

    MM was not ignoring me last night.  He was sick.  He left work & went hone, took a medication & went to bed.  Woke up with really low BS.  And was low again today.  Has an infection.  Hope they order him some medication.  I worry.

    I planned to just rest today.  I accomplished that easy.  Always too tired.  Not touched my laundry yet.  Wears me out.  May have to wash them again.  RA is no fun.  But it is my life.  Things wear me out unlike other people who just say "it is sunday".  A quien le importa.

9/2026 - Friday the 18th - MY JOURNEY

Today's Name Day:  Orvar

    Today went better than yesterday.  My blood sugar went up high & stayed there. UNTIL I was ready to sleep.  Then I had to eat it was so low.  Then I could not get to sleep.  I gave up on my Swedish group & slept a bit more.

    LL's morning went awful also.  She missed the Swedish group also.  We finally met at noon for lunch.  Nice lunch, nice conversation.

    Now my BS is high again.  Changing my insulin to my original orders.  Took extra with supper.  See if that helps.

    Work went good. Completed 2 entire sets.  Cool.  But no one talked.  Busy.  Then they all and others went out to eat.  Hurt.  I know I am only a volunteer but it hit me wrong.  Cried all the way home.  A variety of reasons.  Still feel tearful.  Just get tired of being alone with no one caring or calling.  Hope I feel better tomorrow. 

    Got hot again.  Saw 100F.  Ick.  Raining in part of KS.  Hope it gets here.
